The Big Book of Unexplained Mysteries: 38 Mind-Boggling and Unsolved Mysteries Through History

Enjoyable tour of the Unexplained
Nice, unpretentious read showcasing mysteries from all around the world. The author is an affable host, bringing us some stories that were already familiar, but quite a few that were new to me. Some are ancient mysteries, such as Atlantis, or what really happened to the dinosaurs, and others much more recent, such as the disappearance of Flight MH370, which must count as one of the most puzzling mysteries of the modern era. Each chapter is reasonably short, but nonetheless there is plenty of thought-provoking stuff to be found here.

Uninteresting
There are a lot of these books on so called unsolved mysteries, these ones were very uninteresting and they can remain unsolved as far as I am concernedLong winded and boring

Another brilliant read
Bill O'Neill writes fascinating books and this one is no exception. Full of mysteries from around the world and of totally different. From lost treasures to missing civilizations to murder mysteries. If you enjoy stories about the unexplained this is for you.

Poorly written
Bought this after looking at reviews, but can’t understand how anyone can rate this at all?The tales are just pure rubbish and after reading 3 or 4 I’d had enough.Book will be going in the bin as don’t want to waste anyone else’s time

boring
Stories in this book are just so boring and they're not even that mysterious and interesting.Only a few stories are good

book
Found it heavy going not what I expected - bit self indulgent and had to keep looking up references to confirm they had been researched
