Cold Air Intake easy
Awesome kit, looks great, helped with HP a little and sounds really good to hear lil red breath deep. My son and i installed the kit, and for the most part went smoothly. I did get the wrong size filter for one side. That was a pain.

Worst design ever.
Wish I could give this product zero stars. All the products on the market this is by far the worst one. Welds on the pipes were jagged. Inside of the pipes was not clean at all. The welds melted through. Nothing on the inside of the pipes was smooth. For a product that claims to get more air to your intake faster. There was a surprising amount of jagged edges and slag from the welds in there not being smooth for air to pass over. On top of all that the threads in the pipes were not clean so when the plastic adapters threaded in they immediately got cross threaded and snapped off. They also used a thread measure that was uncommon. Couldn't even find a tap, to dig the plastic out and reset the threads, anywhere at shops around town. I put in an exorbet amount of time energy and money into making this setup work so I didn't have to return it, but in the end I had to. I'll never buy K&N again. Horrible product. Do your research. Intakes are simple and if you look into it there are a bunch of better quality products for a lot less money that perform exactly the same if not better.

Installed 5/12/17 on my 2015 touring Nissan 370z
Very easy to install, take your time, be careful especially with the air sensors, as they are directional. But I didn't use the 2 plastic 90° elbows, I bought 2. 1/4" pipe plugs. And I also bought all the necessary pieces for a PCV delete, as I highly recommend you guys do the same, as now your new intakes kit will pull in allot more air, thus creating allot more vacuum, resulting in engine oil being pulled in through your pcv valves ( you have 2 - 1 on each valve cover ). You will need 2 size 8 AN fittings to thread in place of the removed PCV valves you should take out. And you will need 2 size 8 AN 90° elbows and 2 tiny air filters that will vent out atmospherically, 2 vacuum 1/4" hose caps for the 2 ports on your intake planum as well as 2. 1/2" vacuum hose caps- 1 each for either side of your valve covers for the port tube formed on top of the backside of each valve cover to plug all vacuum ports. Like I said very easy to do, there is instructions that are very discriptive and detailed. Another contributing factor as to why I bought this kit is for 2 reasons. 1.) K&N promised at least a 15hp gain. 2.) K&N promised also they will step up to the plate and go to bat for you if Nissan tries to negate your manufacturers warranty as long as their product is on your car, and there is a D.T.S codes relative to intake and air fuel mixture's codes. Now as far as cool factor, This kit looks badass and makes the engine sound more aggressively. Good luck. Enjoy your car. Be safe. ** First photo is after I put in the PCV delete, and second photo was immediately after initial K&N install.**

Amazing
First - Install was easy. With the help of my 13 year old daughter we were done within an hour. Second - Holy crap no one was lying about the sound of the engine after about 4K. It was akin to an angry dragon. I can't possibly overstate this. Third - You need to reset the ECU for the computer to re-learn how to handle the extra air... No need to disconnect the battery cable.. Instructions below: Read the process a few times before you try to do this its ALL ABOUT TIMING: 1) With the key in your pocket/car, push the Engine Start button TWICE (so the car is fully on, but not started) 2) Within three seconds of the car "ON" (again NOT started), Floor (all the way down) and Release the gas pedal fully 5 times within 5 seconds. Do not do this too fast.. 1..2..3..4..5 3) Wait 7 seconds then floor the gas pedal and hold for 10 seconds. After that 10 seconds the Check Engine Light will start to blink slowly. 4) Release the pedal and floor it down once again and hold for 10 seconds. After these 10 seconds the check engine light will disappear then begin to flash much more rapidly. After you have done the following turn the car off and then back on. The ECU is now reset!! This took me five or six tries to get right... Slow down... It works. After the above works you have to give the car four or five good "Full Pulls". You will notice the sound on the third pull or so then wow the power hits on number four and five.

Symphonic!
Received my intake system less than 72 hours after ordering on Sunday evening form a non "prime" seller. Fast, free shipping, and no state sales tax! After reading several reviews, I knew going in that the passenger side vent hose would require trimming. Not owning a "hose stretcher", I decided to trim in small increments. For what it is worth, I trimmed a total of 3 1/2 inches, (half), off the 7 inch hose, for my 2012 G37 convertible. I suggest trimming at least 3", check fitment, and go from there. If it is left too long, there my be a hood clearance issue. My cautious approach led to a 2 hour install time, but what a payoff. I immediately noticed at idle, just a little deeper sound, not loud, just more bass. Throttle tap in from stop was more immediate also, reminiscent of my dearly departed G35. More instant, throughout entire RPM range. But the best part starts singing around 3 grand, and just keeps getting better. What a symphony of sound! Dare I say, as if from Italy. Yet completely docile at any cruising speed. Engine cover fit perfectly. There is some wiggle room build into L brackets to accommodate cover fitment that some reviewers felt compelled to trim engine cover over. Don't cut your car up, spend a few minutes doing some final adjustments. I suspect getting the passenger side vent hose fitted properly helps with engine cover clearance issues. Oh, trim the rubber seal with metal snips, as there are imbedded metal clips that hold the seal in place. Hope this helps you take the plunge. You know you want to. Enjoy!

I'm not sure I'm happy with this purchase
I'm not sure I'm happy with this purchase. Cons: There are certainly no noticeable gains in power or torque. I've noticed a small decrease in fuel economy about 2mpg for my 370Z. While the engine sound is certainly much louder at higher throttles, the sound isn't very refined. I really don't see how the heat shields will block any heat since they do not create a great seal between the filters and the engine. The tubing also wasn't as nice as I thought it would be. The interior (where it all matters) had noticeable overlaps between the sections of tubing, creating very rough transitions. I have not retuned my vehicle since adding these intakes and have not had it dyno tested so take my criticisms for what they are. Pros: The install was fairly straightforward and I am by no means a mechanic. The install took me about 3 hours but I wasn't exactly rushing through it. The instructions were very helpful with decent pictures and descriptions of each step. All of the parts were packaged well and no defects from shipping were noted. The filters seemed to be very high quality

Easy to install, almost. 2011 G37S Coupe
For now I'm just reviewing the installation of this intake. To start, I am not mechanically inclined and rarely do any work on my cars. With that said, I can read instructions and K&N's were step-by-step and easy to read. A couple sockets, screw drivers and pliers are all you need. The install on my 2011 G37 Coupe took about 2 1/2 hours, but mostly because I just wanted to be careful and make sure everything was correct. There were two small issues that some others have mentioned as well. First, the hose that connects the passenger side valve cover to the vent port on the intake tube was too long and no matter what adjustments I made, it kept kinking. I had to trim and reinstall it several times until it was a length that would not kink, which by then made it difficult to install. This probably added 1/2 an hour to my install. Second install issue was not a big deal, but since it was the very last step before you can sit back and admire your work, it was a little disappointing. When I went to re-install the engine cover, it does not clear the driver's side heat sheild, but rather has to sit on top of it. Still able to reattch the cover, just doesn't look as clean as I'd hope. Will give K&N's tech support line a call one of these days just to make sure it wasn't operator error. Otherwise, sounds great and at the very least gives you the illusion of more power. I'll update this review after having some time with it.
