Made of all Sterling Silver, this locket holds a pretty piece of genuine, ocean-tumbled light aqua sea glass that washed up on the shores of Northern California - beautiful, REAL sea foam seaglass - hand-collected from a beach just north of San Francisco. This is real sea glass - not machine-made! The sea glass gem tumbled in the Pacific Ocean for upwards of 50 to 75 years before washing ashore and being plucked from the sand during my recent trip the beach. It has a unique history and story to tell if you listen closely enough. I hand wire-wrapped it in all Sterling Silver with a genuine freshwater pearl and Swarovski crystal. The locket measures 3/4" by 1". Locket easily can open and close by removing the chain. You may switch out the sea glass to your own in the future - or put anything that fits and is special to your heart! The piece comes with a pretty 18 inch .925 Sterling Silver chain. Comes beautifully gift-wrapped as seen in the pictures - ready for gifting! A note about GENUINE sea glass: ALL of my sea glass is genuine, ocean-tumbled sea glass that I collect off the rocky and sandy shores myself. It is NEVER machine-tumbled. When sea glass is too consistent in shape to other pieces, has too many rare colors in similar shapes, has a smoother rather than more pitted patina or its price does not reflect the value of the sea glass, it may be too good to be true. When in doubt, please ask. You are helping to preserve the integrity of the sea glass art by doing so and I along with my colleagues thank you for that. Each of my sea glass pieces are unique which makes it special! You may not receive the exact piece pictured - but you will receive one in same color and nearly-identical shape as I have thousands of pieces I have collected from beaches around the world over the decades.
