Interesting Stories About RMNP
This fast read book is written for a small audience. That being, people who love estes park and RMNP. Thus for us it presents as a good read. But the stories are not that harrowing as to be of much interest to the casual reader of adventure. This collection of stories spans over 100 years of things that occured (some behind the scenes some very public) in the Rocky mountain National Park. Bear attack, elk kill, fall rescues, road building, flood disasters. Its a small book. And the individual stories are quite short. The facts are presented straight forward without much jounalistic color.

Need my royalty check
I only have 3 complaints regarding this book/ legendary bear fight tale:1. The lewd photos really did not turn out that great. Ursine genitalia is heavily obscured by their coarse outer coat.2. The “bear skull” which I was proffered was actually a segment of cinderblock with some seashells hot glued onto it. I should have examined it closer, but at the time I was dosed hard on Molly.3. I have not yet received my share of royalties for this book. While I typically insist on no less than 10% of net sales, times are tough, and Molly ain’t cheap. Call me, Phyllis. We can hash something out.

Tim Schuett
The story of Tim Schuett's bear attack is legendary. Not only did he fend off the bear; he made it pose for lewd pictures afterward in order to establish dominance.Following the rangers' termination of the bear, Schuett requested its skull, concordant with Mr. Schuett's policy of collecting the skulls of his enemies. To this day, he wears it as a reminder to other bears whenever he goes camping.
