I love this product! It is so easy to install and does not fall off like the ones with suction cups. It rotates in any direction and it takes 2 seconds to put my phone into the holder.

Somehow I missed the hidden text that it's not for a 2016 Chevy Trax - I have a 2018, the mirrors aren't any different. But I was able to get this onto the back of the mirror by extending the legs. It's not on there solid enough so the arm/phone will shake a little and it's not strong enough to touch the phone's screen without some movement. It survived a 4 hour road trip without falling off or dropping the phone even though it probably isn't on there as designed. I was surprised it didn't weigh down the mirror or make it shake too.I got this because I was concerned the other kinds that have 3 prongs for the mirror would cover up the OnStar button (or accidentally push it) and the magnetic ones just seem like a bad idea to me to have magnets near a smartphone or safe/strong enough to hold them in place if you hit the brakes/hit a pothole. But I do like the arm locks in place, swivels around good, and you can remove and place your phone on the holder with one hand easily. I have a iPhone 8+ with a medium sized rubber case and it holds it good, thicker cases may have an issue.One other thing before buying any of these is to check your state laws as they may have rules on hanging things from your rear view mirror. It didn't block the view much for me (not like a handicap placard would) but the police might tell you otherwise.

I have a iphone 13 with a case and it seems to be to heavy now. I bought this November 8 2022 and it is already falling off every time i hang it up. It happens when i hit a bump or accelerate a little to fast. I think im hanging it right but every time it falls off. Kind of disappointing because i really liked it when it was working.

I'm impressed that it doesn't really mess with my view. The clamp holds my phone very well.I do knock my mirror out of whack, from time to time, if I carelessly install my phone (but that's my fault).Overall, it seems to be a good design.

Doesn't grip tight on mirror, mirror always slants down and constantly look has to re adjust
