This product appeals to me.It is composed of a strong rubber and has a great appearance. Because of the ridges, it's ideal to leave your dish sponges on to dry. It also allows the water to return to the sink rather than simply resting on the counter. That's great since it means less cleaning at the rear of the sink.Due to the way, it must be applied, a very small amount of water does reach the counter. It circles the faucet before wrapping around its back. There is now barely any space between the mat and the faucet, as well as from one side of the mat to the other. As it is a universal product and there are so many various-sized faucets available, it is once again extremely little and has no bearing on the product.Note: Be sure to measure the area of your counter. Because I didn't, it was a bit bigger than necessary. This could be the reason why some water is able to get through.For those who have an under-the-counter sink, I wholeheartedly recommend it. Plus, it looks nice!

Doesn't fit around most sink spouts.

The draining works. However when trying to store dish or hand soap on it and use them was difficult. It would push down the rubber lines and make the soap fall over while pumping soap onto my hands. So water and soap would get more messy than if the draining tray were not there. Idea is nice but it was not practical.

Are there different diameters of the faucet base pipe? - the base of the faucet where you are placing this mat. First off, the mat faucet hole was too small so I cut each flapper part. After a week of the mat constantly falling off, I drastically cut the front of the base hole and it finally stayed put. Once I got it installed it worked well for the water running off into the sink. It's just too much trouble to recommend it.

This has worked as it should but is kinda flimsy

The fastener to faucet ripped off soon after purchasing. Requires soaking in bleach frequently to remove mold.

Finally, there is not water behind my sink! Collects and removes water well. Fits between mu faucet and soap dispenser. No water goes behind the mat and what doesn't run back into the sink ia easily removed with quick tip from the back of the mat. Love it.

It's doing what we wanted it for but I wish it was wider as it doesn't cover the width of the sink. It is very flimsy. I wish it was made of a studier rubber.
