Lol, it worked for me
The critical 2 star review is so funny. This is the second part of a product line by DEMAR3. The other one is a separate product in a metal bottle named DX CITA DU 1.6 Burning 1st serum that I will let you search for. This is the DX CITA DU 1.4 2nd serum you put on afterwards. And a product being written in Korean, because it's made in Korea, by Korean people...why's it their responsibility that you can't read Korean? I don't speak Korean either but I don't expect the world to be catered to my language. The box has the ingredients on the front and you are welcome to do your research online, Nobody. Is. Forcing You. To Buy This. It's presented in a way that's like the Apple products of skincare. It seems to be a high-end line that is not as aggressively marketed to the States as other brands like COSRX. I took a look at the ingredients and there are many in here that are amazing. Such as copper peptides, calming extracts, hyperpigmentation-reducing extracts, (Licorice), antioxidants, and ferments. No ingredient is marketed as above the others and they are all equal players in subtly improving your skin over time. I'll let you in on a secret: skincare that aggressively tells you what key ingredient it contains, usually doesn't have much else going on for it.Anyways, the name of the product ("Burning") is scary but it's actually a cooling serum for "inflamed" skin. It's a translation thing...I used it both with and without part 1 and because of the hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, it reduced redness and hydrated my skin. My skin was not sticky or damp afterwards, but also not dry or tight. I currently have a pimple and it has reduced a little since applying.Hope that was at least a little bit helpful.

part of a 3 step skincare system
I have a few of the items in this same product line, which is why I decided to get this one. I have to say the name "burning" scares people off from giving this a chance because nobody wants to burn their skin or have that sensation! I gave it a chance after liking their other serum and realized what it does not do is "burning". I have been using the different steps and I like what it is doing for my skin. If I am not mistaken (since everything is practically in Korean) this is step 2 of the entire series. What this 2-3 step facial care is supposed to do is to help change oily skin, removing the extra oils, refreshing and moisturizing the skin. The serum doesn't feel heavy and seems to almost be more like an oil. It felt gentle, I didn't experience any irritation or negative reaction after use. It didn't take too long for my skin to absorb, did not leave a sticky, heavy, or uncomfortable sensation after use. This does come in a very pharmaceutical skincare type of vibe, almost like in a saline vial or something you see in a med spa or medical type of place. Don't be put off by that, it is designed to maintain freshness so you open it when you are ready to use. Since it comes with 2 bottles you keep one sealed while you are using the first bottle. If you can get the 3rd part of this series, the shield cream, that's great too. It just seals everything in and moisturizes. If not, that's fine too. I did because I wanted to see what this entire set could do for my skin. I started to use this at the beginning of summer because although I don't usually have super oily skin, when summer rolls around it starts getting oily and I break out a lot more. My skin has been a lot better (less fungal acne breakouts) this summer, all the way until the official end of summer.I didn't see the ingredients list posted on this page yet so here it is, in case you want to refer to it:Ingredients:Centella Asiatica Extract, Glycerin, Methylpropanediol, Glycereth-26, Niacinamide, Dipropylene Glycol, Methylgluceth-20, Pentylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Betaine, Kelp Extract, Chrysanthemum Extract Leaf Extract, Purslane Extract, Green Tea Extract, Wild Strawberry Extract, Lotus Extract, Yellow Lotus Extract, Oregano Leaf Extract, Cypress Leaf Extract, White Willow Bark Extract, Crook’s Cane Root Extract, Honeysuckle Flower Extract, Elm Root Extract, Dokomari Fruit Extract, Garlic Extract, Ginger Extract, Spanish Licorice Root Extract, Tangja Extract, Tungsten Root Extract, Lactobacillus/Bean Fermented Extract, Broiler Bark Extract, Golden Extract, Ginkgo Leaf Extract, Camellia Leaf Extract, Rocket Leaf Extract , Wheat Sprout Etract, Broccoli Sprout Extract, Alfalfa Extract, Eucalyptus Leaf Extract, Bergamot Oil, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Octyldodeses-16, Acrylate/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Water, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Tromethamine, Limonene, Adenosine, Fructooligosaccharide, Beta-Glucan, Butylene Glycol, Panthenol, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Polyquater Nium-51, Candida Bombicola/Glucose/Methylapeptide Fermented Product, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5, Madecassoside, Nonapeptide-1, Acetylhexapeptide-8, Linalool, Copper Tripeptide-1, Tripeptide -1, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4, Hexapeptide-9, Ethanol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Stearo Ilglutamate, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, SH-Oligopeptide-1, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin

Face Serum 2 Part?
I’m really confused by this product. The item description states this is a 2 part serum, but both bottles are exactly the same. I’m not sure if this is a packaging mix up or if I’m misunderstanding what exactly this is.There is a lot of writing on the box this is packaged in. However, there is one little part that is English. And it states: Apply to clean skin before your moisturizer. Use several drops and smooth in gently all over face & neck. Then what?I’m sorry, but I like to know exactly what to do with facial products prior to using. This one does not provide enough information. Especially if it’s supposed to be a 2 part serum, but both bottles are exactly the same…I compared the #’s as I was trying to figure this out.

Understand what you are ordering - not a stand alone product
This is not a bad product per say, but I personally find it's sold in a very inconvenient way. This serum is not a stand alone. It is meant to be used in conjunction with another product. That is well and good if you buy them both at once, but if you don't realize you need to order something else separately, you end up with a product that does not work alone. What makes this all so confusing is that the product page mentions two steps and show two bottles, which you do get.Trouble is, they are two bottles of the second step of the treatment. You actually can buy a set with one bottle of each type of serum you need, so if you are new to this product, that is what I suggest you consider first. Then, if you completely fall in love with what the two step treatment does to your skin, you could consider buying two bottles of step one and two bottles of step two separately.Other than that, these are high quality product with a large number of ingredients, so I tried to get a close up picture of the list for anyone with sensitivities or allergies. In the end, I feel like the biggest stumbling block with this product is deciphering the product page itself. After that, I would say these two bottles are the right choice for someone who has already tried the complete 2 step system and is looking to stock up on it.
