The excitement to read this novel after the recent reel collab between Ravinder & Durjoy was some other level. While Ravin is an advocate of love, DD believes Love is an illusion created by the writers.However, when you start diving in this one and by the time you reach the end, one thing that was clear to me was that Love breeds hope in unrealistic ways and that hope somewhere has the power to make the impossible, possible!As is essential for me, I am attached to the most broken character of the story who takes the onus of everything bad upon himself/herself forgetting that there is a difference between what we did and what we could have done! Anyhow!!What I Am With You - as promises - is an ultimate relationship roller coaster! Crazy, quirky and yet relatable to the hearts like me in unimaginable ways! From friendship to family to fanship to relationship, the book unveils various layers and makes honest comparisons between real world and fiction world which we often can relate to.The post breakup part is something everyone who has loved will understand - the anger yet the desire to be with them, to see them once more.As relatable and as realistic as this could get (for me), this book was something that fueled my dreams and strengthened my belief that no matter what - (a) Kisi cheez ko shiddat se chaaho to saari kaaynaat use tumse milaane ki koshish me lg jaati hai - If you believe in your dream, there will be ups & downs, but you will achieve that dream (b) Someone, somewhere is made for us - Even if we don't believe it now, we don't want them now but at the right time, things will fall in place! And you will fall in love! ❤️The book won't disappoint you except where I love you is still not said despite the intense confession! I wanted it to hear back.P.S. : Shah Rukh Khan's reference was necessary coz why not? When the book has a reference, then I am an ardent fan! I have to talk about him! 👻P.S 2 : That reel I talked about.. well, the book may help you give some insight as to which side you feel you can choose!Have a great read!

Pre-ordered long back and got it delivered on a perfect day, 15th August. Just finished reading it and overwhelmed with how exceptionally written this novel is. The characters sound real, they make you think hard about so many basic things that we take for granted. Dhiren Das is someone who will rule your minds long after you have finished reading the book.Of course, it has elements of love but it only acts as a catalyst in the grand scheme of politics life plays with the characters. Aishwarya's character just blew my mind. The book Truly a roller coaster this story is. I liked how the author subtly introduces social issues in the story without getting preachy. When I Am With You also centers around the fact that how difficult motherhood truly is. The crypto part was quite fun! So many quotes that you would want to take away after you're done reading quite a few chapters multiple times. Worthy of the long break the author took to write this one after releasing his last.

I have just completed reading 'When I am with You'And for me it's Dhiren who touched my heart in all means.. not overlooking Aishwarya's suffering,I found Dhiren as a perfect embodiment of what we call Love... this man gave up everything for her and did something we rarely witness a man doing (no offenses)... he made her dream his own... He loved her selflessly and he deserved what he got at the end... a familyThe book is extremely well written in a warm convincing way as great as I could imagine the whole thing happening right infront of my eyesAishwarya was like a perfectly going on flight suddenly hit by turbulence and finally comes out winner... and she is lucky in a crazy sense...I loved Vinny and Smriti and Neeraj as well... would love to have friends like them giving reality checks but sticking to their friends at all time ... last but not the least in his limited presence i loved the character of Adil... he brought a smile to my face many number of times... so this is yet another beautiful story by Durjoy Datta... must buy❤️❤️❤️

First of all when I saw the video about what Aishwarya thinks about romance I thought this book won't be the Durjoy Datta thing that I like the most. I thought Aishwarya would be someone who hate boys kinda that wish I could tell you thing but After I read the book I was like " It's amazing" to be honest I love this book. It has a unique story with great character and every emotion. And it made me realise that I want a friend like Neeraj too . Sorry to say this but I didn't like Aishwarya that much . I know she went through a lot . Every dream of her's was crushed but Dhiren wasn't responsible for that so what did to Dhiren didn't like that but the thing that matters the most is that they are together. Thanks for writing this wonderful novel for us. It was so lively that I can feel a connection with the characters it feels like real.

If you are an avid reader you may not like it but if you are someone like me who needs a intellectual detox after reading heavy books with something simple, easy to read and grasp love story you may give this one a shot.It a cliche love story with a few high and lows enough to keep you engaged to finish the book.

Never thought any other love story would be this much twisted and thrilling after I read Half Girlfriend. But great story, I love it.
