I had a non return valve which was a ball and spring type That either stuck and stopped the flow or didn't seat and let the water flow back past itI bought this swing valve to replace it and for my application pumping dirty water it has worked flawlessly and at a better price so I would recommend this valveIt relies on the back flow to close the valve and thts a much better solution

Does exactly what is says, stops water retuning from 2 inch pipe, we used on a submersible pump to stop the water retuning to the sump

Working as expected after a week since installation. I only expected a faster delivery time
