I’m a serious rope-jumper. This thing is loud when the rope hits it. It’s narrower than expected. I have many mats and was looking to compare.

This mat is the perfect size for yoga and Pilates but it smells something awful! The smell is so strong that you can't and should not spend time on the floor with it.

This mat was better than I could've hoped for! My infrared sauna is on the floor and anything I put under it would make the parts stick so it was hard to slide up and down to close the sauna around me. I also needed something that would be large enough sideways and lengthwise as the floor is carpeted and would let air in around the sides. This mat was perfect in every way. No air is getting through and the parts slide easily. The mat is also the right thickness so I know it will last.The only thing I will say is that it isn't easy to unroll. Once you fight to unroll it, be prepared with heavy weights or something to hold it down on both sides and the middle. I used weights while moving my sauna onto it. I'm not sure how long it would take to relax the curl. My sauna is long so I didn't have to fight to keep it flat. (I added 2 photos -- sauna opened and closed so you can see what I mean.)
