Looks very good with nice quality materials. So we'll built you could run a truck over it. The remote functions continue to work just as well as before, even possibly slightly better.I was expecting direct oem replacement covers. This would be the logical thing. Instead this requires you to remove the original covers and the key electronics then go inside this metal case. You then secure it with four small screws, which are provided along with screwdriver. Some spare screws are included too, which is good as being a bit hasty I immediately lost one when taking it apart.I was expecting it to have a Volvo logo too, but it doesn't. The listing just shows the original Volvo key with logo for size, so be aware.There are two issues, firstly the hidden manual key is now locked away behind the screws so won't be easy to access in an emergency.Second this is very well built but this increases the weight of the key, this definitely has an air of robustness but probably adds 30% more weight. It's also larger as the picture shows.Overall I will definitely keep this, but will likely use it for my spare key and get a more OEM key case solution as my everyday.

Arrived with 2 screws instead of 6 needed to keep the case together and attach the strap.Decent quality but the fits a little large around the original remote buttons on the side.

Original Volvo key had started to water and chip quit badly so bought to refresh the look and I am not disappointed ,this has made it look better than new,Appears to be good qualitand well made and the fit is perfect.

It’s a great looking well made key fob cover it’s a shame it doesn’t fit too small for XC40 2019 models.

I’ve give this product a 5 star rating as it is in perfect condition and have used similar in the past for a different car that’s protected my key fob without any problems.However I have had to return this particular cover as it doesn’t fit a 2023 Volvo XC40 key fob, it is too small.So please check the dimensions of your key before ordering.

If I was more organised I’d have sent it back. It looked like it would fit my key. I even double checked but the variations in the keys mean it was so difficult to tell that my key was ever so slightly too big. The quality is great though and a really nice product. It’s put me off buying another (that might actually fit) because of the price point. If you’re happy to drop money on something that it’s a necessity then enjoy. If not, find a cheaper one (that actually fits so double check and you won’t do what I did)

All good except leather strap was missing so i could not use the key ring supplied
