ETIProfessional Diffuser

A good replacement for my old diffuser It fits the nozzle of my Nicky Clark NCD10C securely. (It's a pretty old model.) The diffuser is quite bulky - but needs to be, as a universal model has to be able to fit over the top of a variety of nozzles, rather than attach to the end, as the original diffuser would have done. I think the key to these type of universal diffusers is that it fits best where the hairdryer nozzle is tapered. My one tapers down to about 4cm, so fits into the ETI opening easily, and then once pushed in, the spring mechanism grips the slightly wider nozzle a bit further up. It does get fairly warm, but that's inevitable, given what it's for! However, there are no unpleasant burning plastic smells, and the diffuser seems solidly made and of a good material. All in all I'm pleased with my purchase.

This is not ETI branded diffuser as advertised. It’s cheap & nasty & is nothing like my previous one. The little diffuser prongs are not smoothly finished & are sharp & rough. Disappointing. I have to return this item at my expense but will be looking for a refund on my return postage as incorrect info on listing re brand.

This works on my ETI 8000 hairdryer....I couldn't confirm when buying if it did so I took a chance and it paid off. I'd previously been using a Revlon hairdryer for it's diffuser which was at least 15 years old so wanted to upgrade. Initially it was a bit of a squeeze to get the diffuser onto the hairdryer but once it's on, it stays in place nicely and has not popped off yet and I've now used it 3 times. It's changed my curls dramatically and the drying time is around 10 mins even though I'm blessed with very thick hair :-).I would definitely recommend this!

Like others who have reviewed this item have stated, please do not waste your time, money or effort on this fundamentally flawed, very badly designed piece of under-engineered plastic rubbish. The video tells all.

I have a Toni and Guy hair dryer so I was really worried whether the diffuser would fit as the barrel of the hair dryer is quite thick.It fitted perfectly, You have to give it a really good push to get it on but thats it, because of the springs on the inside it holds on to the hair dryer very snuggly, it actually looks like it is part of the hair dryer.A product that is described as universal, it actually is.
