Creative Haven Awesome Animal Designs Coloring Book (Creative Haven Coloring Books)

This is what you expect from Creative Haven books. I have several from them & so they all set a high standard when it comes to coloring books. All the pages are perforated for easy removal. You can also make copies if you are going to use markers or gel pens. Otherwise put paper between the pages for protection as all ink will leak through. I tested using Copic markers, Prismacolor pencils, Fiskar gel pens & Sakura Jelly Rolls. If I don't remove the pages, I put a piece of cardstock between them for protection. I color with a heavy hand & the paper stood up to it. The designs do not run off the pages or into the binding. Each page has a border.The designs in this book have both very intricate details & larger less detailed pages. So this is good for adults & children. The images are whimsical and fun. Not realistic depictions of animals.

I liked the more intricate designs for coloring with pencils, or copied onto a thicker paper if I use markers, although I really appreciate that these pages are "one side only"A few of the designs were a little too simplistic for my tastes initially, but then I saw something called Zentangle, and while I'm not following those techniques, I can use a felt tip pen and add my own "design" to the sparser ones, then go in and color that way (there were really only two or three that were that minimalist)I am having lots of fun with this book, and could recommend it to anyone who likes to color just to relax and not be staring at the TV :-)

Was a good book for the kids

I'm always looking for something new to add to my collection for jewelry making and this is a winner. The pictures are so unique. I use colored pencils to color in and shade and transfer to my clay pieces. Awesome! This book is a treasure chest of possibilities. It arrived quickly and packaged nicely.

This book is a little silly. The animals are doing silly things. The detail is a little juvenile.

So much fun to color and ver unusual drawings to do I in ink, crayon, watercolor, watercolor crayons. And use the picture or part of them in your journals or card making. Very inexpensive.

Whimsical animal designs. Fun to color book. One sided perforated pages. You can really use your imagination coloring in this book. So excited to get started.

lovely colouring book full of different quirky designs. A joy to colour! would recommend this range of colouring books to any would be adult colourer, they are truly beautiful and excellent quality

I find this book just right I love animals as it is. Good paper but only one thing is that u can't use felt tip pens as it bleeds through to next page but I still love it
