90's cowgirl dream jeans! (the "brand size" column on the sizing chart is key to finding your fit)
The reviews on the sizing of these jeans helped me tremendously, so I figured I'd do my part and pass along some helpful information.I've had my eyes on these jeans for about a year, and when I saw that the "antique wash" version was on sale for only $20, I knew it was time to pull the trigger and a new denim staple to my fall wardrobe. My only question was...what size? When I looked at the reviews, it was clear that I needed to study the sizing charts before making my decision. My measurements:height: 5' 7"waist: 26.5 in.hips: 38 in.thigh: a little less than 24 in.inseam: 32 in.On the Wrangler's website, the sizes on the sizing chart are all listed in even numbers while the sizes offered here on Amazon are in odd numbers, so that makes things confusing. On the Wrangler's website, my waist lines up with a size 0, my hips with a size 6 and my thighs with a size 14.According to Amazon, my waist lines up with a 0, my hips with a size 5 and my thighs with an 11.On the Amazon sizing chart, the very first column says "brand size". As far as I can tell, the first number represents the waist measurement and the second number represents the in-seam. These numbers are really helpful and may be the most helpful in determining what size to try.I knew the jeans were supposed to have kind of a baggy fit around the thighs, but I wanted them to be more fitted across the hips and backside area so they still gave off a feminine vibe. I decided to try size 5-32 first. The length was perfect. They fit well over my cowboy boots, rainboots and lace-up/hiking boots. However, the waist was gaping and the booty and thigh area were way too loose for my taste. I decided to send them back and order a 3-32 in their place.I am much, much happier with the 3-32's. The material is stiff and feels like traditional, high quality denim, but they are not too tight anywhere. They feel equally feminine and tom-boyish (which is my style, in a nutshell). I could wear these to do yard/barn work or I could dress them up a little with a girly top and different shoes and still feel cute. The $20 markdown was too good to pass up, and I'm really glad I took the time to find my size.On the Amazon size chart under "brand size", the 3-32's are listed as 27-32. Again, I have a 26.5in waist and a 32in inseam (basically 27-32), and that is the size that ended up working for me. The rest of the waist, hip and thigh measurements that correspond to the 27-32 row on the Amazon chart do not reflect my measurements at all, but had I based my purchase solely off the "brand size" column here on Amazon, I would have gotten the sizing right the first time.I hope this review helps somebody out there who's looking for a great pair of jeans. :)Sizes purchased: 3-32 and 5-32 (compared in the photos as "3" and "5", respectively)Size kept: 3-32

just as expected
i didn’t find the sizing to be too far off. i purchased a 3, which is what i wear pretty much in all brands. they are a little tight against my baby fluff, but a 5 would fall off. very flattering cowgirl aesthetic! would and will buy again. well made jeans that will be good for barn chores.

Fit Nothing Like Old School Wranglers
The rise was similar, but back was higher. hip, crotch, seat, and thigh were huge, even bigger than the old regular fit. They were not at all slim fit. I wear a modern day 6 or 8, 28 or 29. This translated to a 9 on the size chart. One pair fit in the waist and was loose in the hip, seat, and thigh. The other pair was loose in the waist and huge in the seat, hip, and thigh. The mass production is even worse quality than in the 80's and 90's. I do miss old school Wranglers Slim Fit Tapered Leg jeans.

Good fit, beware of size chart
Wrangler sizing for these jeans is very inaccurate. I ordered the stonewash in a 1/32 (I’m usually between a 0-2 so like a 24/25 waist). I’m 130lbs, 5’8. They fit perfect, I could probably even size down to a 0 for a tighter fit but at that point I don’t think they would be as comfortable. The crotch is still a bit more loose than I’d like but it’s fine. In the past I have bought the bleach wash in a 7/32 and they fit great as well. So the sizing is very off depending on the wash you get. They’re thick + durable for work pants. Very flattering.

Wrangler high rise Fit true to size
I wear a size 14/32 in women and these fit true to size. The rise and 100% cotton thick denim is great & sucks the mom pooch in. I gave 4 stars because there’s a little too much fabric in the crotchal region (trying to come up with a better way to say it but couldn’t haha). It looks a little awkward. I’m hoping washing & drying a few times will help that. I usually wear a longer length but I went with 32” because I’m planning on wearing with shoes without heels (sneakers and heel-less ankle boots) so I don’t want any dragging. The length is perfect for that. I will update after washing several times and will update with a photo.~Sara

Wore one time and already has a hole in the leg seam
I love these jeans. They are so comfortable and long enough! The pockets are large enough for my phone. I really do love these jeans. My only complaint is that I wore these one time, and the seam already has a hole! I ordered these jeans larger than I normally do so they wouldn’t be tight. I’m very upset that I already have to fix a hole. I don’t know if it is maybe a defect in the stitching or what. But I’m pretty disappointed. If it wasn’t for the poor stitching, I’d give these jeans a higher rating.

Wranglers for the win!
These are great! I'm about 165ish lbs and 5''2" I got the 11/30. They fit pretty good! Only tight in the belly a bit but lossen after wearing little bit, but very well made and comfortable everywhere else. I got the antique wash. They have a little stretch but they are a heavy jean. Overall I think worth it.

Best wrangler jeans
These are by far the best jeans that fit me! I am usually a size 5-6 depending on the fit. These dont have too much stretch so I ordered the size 9 ended up returning them because they were way to big. Stick to your true size. I bought a size 7 and they fit amazing!

Ordered twice and wrong size was sent both times
Jeans are nice but I ordered a 00 and was sent a size 0. Reordered a size 00 and again was sent a size 0. Very annoying.

Retro fit use sizing calculator on wrangler website
I’ve got an hour glass shape usually take a carhartt 4 or 6 depending on the cut. Calculator on the wrangler website recommend size 7x30. I’d say fit is pretty spot on for town jeans almost loose over the thigh and nice shaped fit over the hips and actually a waist band that sits right for a change.I’d recommend following the majority and size up two sizes if u are actually working outdoors in them though the thigh is pretty roomy then. I’m trying the stretch version next which the website calculator recommends in a 5x30

still unsure
i have never in my life been more confused by a pair of jeans. for context, i’m a 5’9”, 135 lbs woman who normally fits into a size 7 jean.after much research, i buckled and ordered the 7x34, thinking the leg length was gonna be my only issue. they came and while the waist was fine (give or take leaving me a bit of room for bloating) the length was ridiculous so i exchanged them and got the 7x32.well now, these ones are the perfect length but they’re more than bit tight. i’ve heard of people wearing them around the house for an hour to let them stretch and i think i’m gonna do that, but it’s so confusing how one change can alter the entire pair of jeans.i’m still on the fence as to whether or not i’ll be keeping these. to anyone else who is on the fence, take advantage of amazon’s amazing exchange option. i got my new pair the next day.
