While unpacking this beautiful little cookware set, I acquired a new respect for things made in China. This cookware remains non-stick for a handful of times without using oil. After that, a light oil is needed. The slick strong surface makes cleanup quicker and easier than with most other cookware. Also, the rapid heat conductivity of these sturdy Gotham pots and pans is amazing, so it's definitely a good buy.UPDATE: Recently I was boiling some water in the square pan, when the phone rang. I got into a conversation and forgot I had the burner on high. The water had boiled out, and the empty pan had remained on high heat for nearly an hour! I removed the pan from the stovetop and allowed it to cool.Amazingly the bottom was undamaged. In fact, it looked shiny and brand new! I don't know what kind of miracle metal Gotham uses, but a normal pan would have been destroyed. (I later noticed the bottom of the square pan has a reinforced metal plate unlike the other pan & pot. Used these daily for a year. The skillets eventually lose their non stickitivity. The saucepan is a perfect size for small batch frying (chips), but eventually succumbed to pitting. Otherwise zero frying stains or scalding.No complaints. Nonstick doesn’t last forever. Bonus this time- the 9.5” square pan is my new favorite breakfast pan. I’m sure regular dishwasher cleaning shortened their usefulness by a number of months.

So far, nothing sticks to it. The only issue was that the square pan was small and I had to reorder the larger square pan; which is my main reason for buying the set.

I'm pretty sure gotham steel isn't supposed to do that.Overall I've had these pans for a long while now and I still use them on a daily basis. I haven't met a pan where the non stick coating lasts forever, so just keep that in mind. Nothing a little Pam/butter/olive oil can't fix.

Pan sizes are smaller than the sizes I already owned. I bought these as replacements I should of payed more attention to dementions

This stuff is straight voodoo. My dad used to own a restaurant and said he's never seen anything the likes of this stuff. I have seen infomercials where people advertise a "non stick" product you buy it and have to cook under certain conditions and can only cook certain things in them. These things are the gods of my cookware now. I use it for everything, eggs, hot dogs, steak, boiling milk, sacrificing small animals. The wax job on my car isn't even this slick. Not to mention it's sturdy. Move over PUBG Skillet there's a new cookware in using for the WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER. BUY IT!

I LOVE this cookware!!! I've made Hamburger Helper, Rice-a-Roni, mac & cheese, meatballs & sauce, grilled cheese and other things in the pans and pot that using old cookware would normally be a nightmare to wash with brillo pads and whatnot. After cooking and letting the aforementioned sit in the pot and pans, rinsing with water and just rubbing with my thumb before washing with dish liquid, it all came off with ease! So much time in life given back rather than scrubbing and scraping my old pot and pans!

only 4 stars because they do not work as nice as the ones in their commercial. Havernt been able to fry an egg with no grease or oil yet and have it slide around the pan.

Wish the square pan had a lid but other than that I like the set
