I did not get the extended version just the regular one I have set up a pole before and it was inverted & a little different/easier set up. Once I got the base set up the easiest part which was installing the top piece and tightening the pole took very long because I didn’t have a ladder. I stood on my chair and attach the top base to the main pole & attempted tightening it. However it was easier to take the main pole down extend the black pole in the middle all the way out and measure if it will fit back on the base while being as close to the ceiling as possible once I figured out the length it needed to be I shortened it a little more attached it to the base & then put the top piece on and tightened it up all the way

I love that it also comes with videos to help; however, the instructions for the set up is a little bit difficult, due to instructions not being detailed enough. I did have a video to watch, which did help, but the details needed weren't addressing the small pieces. I had to take it down 3 times. Other than that, sturdy, does the trick, and a bang for my buck!

I’ve never touched a pole before but it’s been something I’ve wanted to try for awhile. I have fallen in love! I’ve used it for about an hour and I’m already bruised up lol, BUY SOME GRIPPING POWDER. The set up was fairly easy but it took some time to tighten and get the right height. Also I made an absolute mess since I have a popcorn ceiling. Overall though it’s a great pole for the price!

Arrived promptly. Have not assembled it yet. Excited to use it!
