The thing i dont like is the bag retaining ring. It is a bit on the flimsy side and mine does not completely conform to the edge of the can so when the bag starts getting full, the middle sides pull away and down a little into the can. Very nice can, but the bag ring needs to be beffier and better fitted for the can. What i do like is everything else about the can. manual open/close feature, hands free open/close, the size of the can, and how quickly it opens. There is a cheaper battery only version can but I spent the extra money and got the version with the added A/C adapter. My can is next to an outlet, so never needing batteries is a big plus.

This SensorCan is GREAT! I love the fact it comes with a cord to plug in, no batteries needed, my hands stay clean and sanitary when scraping dishes or throwing wrappers away, it’s very easy to remove the lid to empty the trash and replace a new bag. The closed lid keeps pets from getting into the trash as well! The sensor easily detects your hand, or finger, and automatically closes after a few seconds, however it does have the option to manually keep it open, if you’re scraping several plates or doing a lot of cleaning and want to keep it open longer. You simply close it when you’re done. I highly recommend this product!

Does exactly what I it is supposed to do. The sensor works consistently and the trash can seems to hold quite a bit. The charcoal odor inhibitor and the AC adapter is a nice feature that many of these sensor trash cans do not come with. The price was better than what is available at the big box stores.

I am very pleased with this trash can. I have not had any issues until now, with a lid failure at 5 years and 8 months. Not bad. I was able to buy a replacement lid for $55. The trashcan can is fine so I saved a few dollars instead of buying anew one. Almost 6 years is a good lifespan for a trashcan we use everyday. This has been worth the money. It looks great, the smell stays inside and works every time until now and it still opens and closes but we have to open it by hand.

I got tired of changing batteries all the time, this one fit the bill. Holds the bag’s well and no issues with lid opening and closing.

Works great in my kitchen when my hands are full and I need to discard something. Pretty quiet. Holds the standard 12 gallon trash bag. I only wish it was a little more sensitive when it comes to opening.

The open-close function of the lid only worked for 7 months. Per Amazon’s suggestion, I contacted the manufacturer directly to troubleshoot the issue. After trying all options including the purchase of a new power supply, the lid still does not function. Hoping that Amazon can respond.
