13 Gallon Automatic Touchless Sensor Kitchen Trash Can with AC Adapter and Odor Filter Kit, Stainless Steel, Oval Shape, Battery Free Operation with Included AC Adapter

Wanted a can with an ac adapter. It's working well and I like that I don't have to use batteries. Unfortunately, it is smaller than my old one which means more frequent emptying and using more bags. Also, while nice to include the odor reducer holder, mine disappeared the very first time the male took out the trash. He apparently thought it was trash, too. By the time I noticed, it was far too late and messy to retrieve. Nonetheless, the pros are still outweighing the cons.

I had a simple human trash. . It held a lot of trash, look at the difference in size, strange both say 13 gallon. But you can see the difference in size between them. This new can is a lot smaller. The opening is smaller too. Plus this can you can see the trash bag sticking out around the lid.!why not put a lift out section like my old one has. The bag stayed inside the can not out side. So far I’m not digging this can. It’s cheaper the my old one. I’m thinking of returning it and getting the simple human again. It lasted 17 years. How long will this last. 1 or 2 years. Go for long life not cheap. Plus pulling full trash bag out of this can creates a suction, making it hard to pull the bag out. Needs holes in can to release the bag easier.

I love this product! The only thing is when I over friends houses, I wait for their trash can to open 😭

Returned this because the size of the opening is not very wide, but I can see this being used for recycling bottles, plastics, etc. The motion worked well on it.

My husband saw one like this at a friends house and just had to have one so I bought this one. We love it. You get so used to it the automatic that when you go to use a normal one you find yourself feeling stupid that your waving a a normal trash can!

Works as described, love the fact you don't have to have batteries.

Actually second can we have purchased because electronics got wet and stopped working. We now use old can for recycle while this can is for trash. Easy to use motion sensor. Auto close keeps dogs out of trash because it will close on their nose. No injury, just startles them.

It’s nice to have a touch-less garbage bin which is easier to have and keep the cat out

Meta can seems a tad flimsy so don’t go flinging it about, first one came dented but Amazon exchanged it. The wheels aren’t the best but work.The motion detection works great though.
