Gets the job done. Very shotty adhesive glue
The product does indeed work as intended. However, the adhesive on the item is simply not strong enough! Or rather I should say some panels are definitely coated with the stuff and others were done very half-assed and required more than just the double sided tape (does not work btw).Everything else about the item does work as intended to the degree that it's suppose to work obviously, but definitely stock up on stronger glue material!

Adhesive is the way to go!
This was our second attempt to sound proof my son's studio/gaming room. We first tried regular foam sound proofing without adhesive. The double stick tape we used tore the texture off the wall when we tried to move it.We thought better and went this route. We went to the big box store, purchased a 4x8 sheet of hardboard and some firring strips. We cut the board in two sections of 4x4 and framed it up using the firring strips. We cleaned off the dust from the board, installed the foam and attached them to the walls. We made sure to find the studs on the wall. With the extra foam, we secured a 2x6 sheet of gator board and some over-the-door flat coat hooks. Attached the foam and punched holes for the hook, hung it to the back of the door. Instant sound proof room. Now he can make his beats and be as noisy as he wants while gaming.

Love it BUT
Sound proofing: 9.5/10Adhesive: 1/10Adhesive is why I took off one star they suck like the other reviews say. I would advise getting command strips with these because the sound proofing is great

They work
I can hear my roommate cough but the SNORING is SO MUCH harder to notice. Very light compared to waking me up previously. So for the price I am happy!!! I would say it takes noise from a 10 to a 4. Looks good on the wall. You'll need to glue them though or get hit in the middle of the night by foam

Actually surprisingly nice for the price
I was definitely skeptical about buying these, as others I’ve looked at around this price had bad reviews about them not expanding and not sticking etc, but I am happily surprised to how great these are. First of all they came air sealed very tightly, and once opened they expanded to their full 2 in size, and shape in seconds. Second they have a card with the panels that says how to hang them, (which basically says press firm on every part of the panel for a nice amount of time). The card also said “clean wall before hanging” which was nice, however they didn’t say how to clean the wall. For me, I have painted walls and didn’t want to damage the paint, so I used water and a little bit of dawn soap, and dipped in a sponge then ringed it out, after a bit of rubbing the wall just fry it with a cloth and it works perfect, with no damage to the paint. Don’t use Clorox. They do not tell you how to position them however, which I suggest you look up before putting them up. I use these for playing and recording guitar with no echo, and without annoying my family, and there are certain ways you can hang any sound panel for maximum tonal efficiency, so I highly recommend looking up how to place these around your room. They stick very well for me and I no problems hanging them up, use a level and a pencil to hang these properly, you can eye ball it if you want but you only get one chance to hang them correctly. I was really surprised in how much these stop sound from bouncing off the walls, if you’re a musician you’ll hear the difference. And if your using these for sound proofing, they work great for that too. I highly recommend these if your on a budget like myself, I would happily buy them again. The only two downsides I see are the instructions are brief and they don’t tell you how to clean your wall, or how to position these when you hang them. The other is they have a faint chemical odor, but I opened my window and door then blasted a fan and the smell dissipated in an hour or two so it wasn’t a big deal for me. Hope this review helps somebody!

Excellent Soundproof Foam
I recently purchased soundproof foam panels for my room, and I am absolutely thrilled with the results. The installation process was a breeze. I noticed an immediate reduction in echo and reverberation, creating a much clearer and more focused sound environment. Not only has the foam helped in blocking out unwanted external noises, but it has also prevented sound leakage from my room, ensuring that my roommates are not disturbed by my voice. In terms of value, these soundproof foam panels are worth every penny. They have elevated the overall audio experience in my room, and I can confidently recommend them to anyone in need of effective noise control.

Great Bang for Buck!
For the price, I wouldn't go for anything else. I paid very little to get my wall behind my setup covered in this sound dampening foam. I wouldn't say it completely eliminates noise, but it does a great job at eliminating the echo in my recordings. I stream on twitch and post on youtube every now and then, and these foam pads really help with the echo. They also help with reducing background noise, but there are better pads for that. However, for the price these are great!

These panels did the job
I purchased these acoustic panels to cover the one wall I share with my roommates. I also wanted to cover up the paint that was on that one wall (baby / powder blue) so these also came in handy for that use as well. They were easy to install and they did reduce the sound coming through the wall and into my roommates' room. By alternating the pattern when I installed them, they also work like wallpaper giving the wall a pattern to look at. Bottom line - they (my roommates) are happy - and I'm happy.

Low quality
Foam is not very dense and it doesnt adhere well to surfaces. Better to buy it from a proper supplier
