Quiet on the right power supply.
Have purchased two of these now. The first was as a trial to circulate air over my cacti collection. But the noise on the slowest speed was bad (it could be heard whilst trying to get to sleep in a bedroom at the other end of landing) and on full speed it sounded like an aircraft spooling up it's engines ready for takeoff. I started looking at voltage drop devices to slow it down, but on the off-chance I tried an old galaxy phone charger that is limited to 1A (the same rating as the fan) and the noise on the fastest speed is now less than it was on the slowest speed when used on a usb socket on an old extension lead, which could have been over volting it or supplying too much current. Both fans now are hardly noticeable when ran on middle speed. I run one constantly with one as backup and swap them over to clean the one that has been running constantly. The only way to clean them is via an air duster because they don't come apart. When doing this I hold the blade steady with a small screwdriver to stop it over spinning the bearings. Just a personal choice thing.

Doesn’t work most of the time. Cheap.
If I could leave 0 stars I would! The noisiest fan and half the time doesn’t turn on. If you even pick it up it stops working. Waste of money. Air flow is rubbish also. Would not recommend.
