Well cool
Love this, added effects, modulations via loop, distortions before, to 10 inch PA full range cab, sweet with guitar or bass, really good clean sound too. So now can practice without disturbing neighbours.

Nice but buzzy
Loved the look of this little amp and it sounded good but I couldn’t put up with the background buzz once I took my hands off the guitar strings. It was the same with my other guitars so it wasn’t the guitars at fault. Sounded like an earthing problem to me. A pity as I really liked the amp but the background noise was enough for me to return for a refund.

Superb
Well, bought this on a whim, my word it's seriously good, this is the clean model, you'll need an overdrive and reverb pedal to get the most out of it, with a quality drive , I'm using a Jackson audio belle Starr into a copper, into a barefaced cab with a vintage celestion 10 it still stays clean , fat singing valve like response, it, it doesn't show its budget personna, I've tried HBs , p90s and hot Strat pickups, honestly it's a marvel, even sounds good through headphones, rock, jazz , blues , handles them with aplomb.

A wonderful clean guitar amp - great for pedals
In my opinion this is one of the best 5w headless clean amps you can get for the money. It’s a clean amp that works extremely well with overdrives (Klon/Tubescreamer) it handles distortion pedals well and has an effects loop for delay/modulation effects (distortion pedals also sound great in the effects loop).I am using it at home in a wet/dry rig with Celestion 8 and Orange 108 speakers. It can handle 4,8 & 16 ohms so you can have fun connecting your speakers in series and parallel if you are so inclined.

Massiv verarbeitet.

Small and lovable.
It's small. It's built like a tank. It has some weight to it. And, it's very different from the the other Hotone amps. It's the cleaner one. Weirdly, these little amps do not respond like a normal gain/volume amp. They make dirty amps and clean amps. Their dirty amps never really get clean, even with the gain down. This Siva Boogie doesn't get dirty when it's gained up, either. But, if you dial everything all the way up, It starts to overdrive. So, expect it to be loud if you want some drive. So, what on earth is it for? It's for using pedals with, and that's how I use it, and that's why I bought this particular one. It's because it can be clean at a decent volume, and I can use a pedal to get overdrive. If you have no pedals, skip this one. If you have pedals, this is the Hotone you want.I have 4 guitar rigs in my studio, from high-wattage half-stacks to high-wattage combos. The only problem I had was, I needed to run my amps really loud to get the power amps crunchy. The solution a lot of players are going for now, is to get a low-wattage rig, and crank it up knowing the volume will never be overly loud. That's why you'd want a 5-watt amp like this. And this amp delivers. 5 Watts. I run it at about 3/4 of its power and it is a rock clean, with a hint of drive if you pick hard. At this volume, you can still talk over the top of it, if you talk a little loudly. Kick in an overdrive pedal, and it goes to hard rock or metal, or whatever you set on your pedal. The effects loop is great if you want to run a delay or reverb pedal.Well, I love it. It's quirky and weirdly unconcerned of where you set the gain. It wants to stay clean, and it's that reason I like it so much. It's not for everyone. If you have a home studio, though, it may be the perfect fit for you. It's easy to dial in great tones that you'll actually use.

Fun and Funky
I ended up returning the amp. It just wasn't quite the tone I wanted. However, this is a funky little amp. I plugged it into my 2x12 cabinet and was surprised at just how well it was able to drive those speakers. At 20W, you'll be surprised. (Now, don't get too excited, it won't outperform a Marshal stack, but it's surprisingly robust.)The tone was good, but I decided I wanted something more pristine, and there's just a TOUCH of grit in this amp, even dialed in for a cleaner sound. It was NOT unpleasant, and I even debated keeping it because it is AN INSANE GOOD VALUE. I got the Siva Boogie version for something like, $60 and boy oh boy, I almost decided to keep it just as an additional amp option. I eventually decided to return it and apply the money toward a different route, but I may find myself buying one of these HOTONE mini amp head in the future.
