Quality Value Guitar
Good Guitar right out of the box, playable with low action maple neck, and a unique 5-position switch, with two single-coil pickups, Neck and Middle, Humbucker near the bridge. A good upgrade would be locking tuners, which also came with a Tremolo bar. Great Tone possibilities for various musical genres. A pro setup would make this Guitar standout

Great Guitar, issues with the shipping
I am a guitar collector, always wanted a low cost Yamaha. Pac112 is the cats meow. Fast neck, alnico pickups never disappoint, the guitar is comfortable in size and great to play. Love the sound, very bell like tones, not as beefy as my higher end fender pickups in other guitars I have, but for the price, what u get is excellent. Would be happy to have this as my only guitar absolutely. 4 stars because I received it with slight damage, the outside shipping box was fine, but the inside Yamaha box had a smashed-in hole at the base of the box. When I opened it up sure enough the guitar had a small chip at the base of the body near the strap button. Not completely terrible since u cannot see it unless u look for it, but still, IMO poor quality QA on the part of the seller to ship a guitar before checking it out (no other explanation I can think of considering what I saw). Anyway, to the seller's credit, we did work out a discount and they were also willing to take it back if I really wanted to return it. I was satisfied with the discount. Bottom line, I have yet to be disappointed with Yamaha and this guitar is excellent value for the price. Sounds awesome!
