Kissing Beau (Wishing Well, Texas Book 12)

Did not finish
What a promising plot and a very likeable couple that fizzled. At 69% in I did not finish. The plot could have really been interesting instead it was totally sabotaged for a "he loved at me and i couldn't resist" and "she is all I can think about" book. Finally I gave up as nothing was happening except sex scenes one after the other. In addition to likeable characters, a good romance has to have a plot that develops through out the book and ties the characters together.

Wonderful trip to Wishing Well!
Going back to the small town of Wishing Well, Texas is always a good time. The Briggs family is fantastic and you know there is always going to be something happening that is newsworthy!Beau Briggs has just worked overnight at the firehouse and the last place he wants to go is to a wedding, but he also knows he needs to show his face. What he doesn't expect is the ex-fiancee that broke his heart 10 years prior was going to show up. Luckily he's got his family there as back-up and just when he's about to leave, a woman new to town catches his eye. Maybe he should stick around a bit longer?Sasha Nelson has been an actress living in California for many years now. She was in a long-term relationship, which she thought was going to end in a marriage, but little did she know that her boyfriend had been stepping out on her until she caught him with another woman. Knowing she needed a change of scenery, she hopped a plane to visit her grandmother in Wishing Well. She ends up at the same wedding and she felt like she was living in one of her soap opera scenes when she first locked eyes with Beau. Do those things really happen in real life?As Beau and Sasha get to know one another, the realize they have an awful lot in common and much of it comes from places of hurt and pain. They're both stronger for it though and opening themselves up to one another is cathartic in ways neither one of them expected. When it's time for Sasha to head back to LA, will she choose to take a chance on what her heart wants?I really enjoyed this story and both Beau and Sasha. They were both strong characters and while they had both been through a lot, they found they were even stronger together, which was great to see. I always love Dolly Briggs and her "know it all-ness" along with the group of silver-haired women who always know what's up in Wishing Well! Another great one to add to this series!

I want to move to Wishing Well
Beau is the 4th of 9 children. His mom and dad have the kind of marriage he always wanted. That was until he caught his fiance cheating on him with his best friend/man the night before the wedding 10 years ago. Since then he has closed off his heart to love. Coming off of a long shift, he is at a friend's wedding. Weddings give him hives and he counts the minutes until he can go home. And then his ex shows up. 10 years later she just shows up.Sasha is an actress on a hit soap. She has been dating her co-star for 5 years. When she decides to surprise him and show up early to meet him for their vacation, she is the one who is surprised. She sees him having shtupping their co-star. She flees to her Grandma's house in Wishing well and winds up being Gam's +1 for the wedding. When Beau and Sasha lock eyes from across the room and then wind up being the ones to catch the garter and bouquet, things get hot.I loved this book and I love going back to Wishing Well. I can't wait for Wyatt's book.

Amazing Eyes!
Beau and Sasha’s story is heartwarming for the reader that takes everyone to the end of the series of Wishing Well, Texas. This is one of my favorite books of the series. The story reconnects two people at a wedding, that didn’t end well, ten years earlier. Sasha and Beau meet at his brother’s wedding, in which they had an instant attraction, a sizzling kiss, and a night that Sasha couldn’t remember because she added alcohol to her drinks. Through many family gatherings, an interfering grandmother, living life in a small town of nosy neighbors, and an ex-boyfriend that shows up, life in Wishing Well, Texas is an amazing adventure! Fantastic book! Great series to read all 12 books in the series!

Great book!
This was a great book! I've been a casual Melanie Shawn reader and this was the first Wishing Well book I read but I am definitely going to go back and read the series from the beginning! Amazing characters, palpable chemistry between the leads, fun side characters such as Gam and the rest of the Briggs family, little drama and angst. I felt like I was watching the action as it was happening and could feel the emotions that Beau and Sasha were feeling. Can't wait to start this series from the beginning!

Kissing Beau
I don't want this to be the last book in the Wishing Well, Texas series. I love these books because it is so easy to get caught up in the lives of the characters like Beau and Sasha. You almost feel like you are a part of the group. All 12 books were great!

Everything happens for a reason.
A great story , two people who have been betrayed by those who they think love them the most, find themselves on a collision course and it is so much fun to see their lives come together.

Good read
Really enjoyed this story and liked both beau and Sasha. Liked their story but do wish that Sasha had gotten a little retribution with her ex friend and boyfriend. Good read.
