The good: These LED strips are a great value, very bright, easy to hook up. They are on a flexible circuit material and have very strong adhesive lining the entire back of the strip. Comes with power adapter, mechanical switch, motion detector, and three jumper cables. The flexible circuit can be cut at marked spots and the pieces joined using the jumper cables to go around tight corners. I installed this LED kit inside of a safe and it works fantastic: Lights turn on when you open the door and illuminate every shelf making it very easy to see.The bad: Some bonehead manufacturer assembler soldered the wires on backwards on one of the connectors on all three of the jumper cables. When I first cut my strip and joined the two pieces with a jumper cable the extended half didn't work. Examining the jumper cables I realized the wires were crossed on the connector which incorrectly reversed the polarity for the extended half. I got out my soldering iron and swapped the wires, re-attached and the extended half then lit up just fine.The ugly: The flexible circuit material is shiny metallic and the LEDs are very bright so you probably won't want to mount this where you view them directly. Also, the adhesive on the back is VERY strong - you will want to make sure you know how you want to position them the first time because there is a good possibility you could damage the flexible circuit if you try to remove it to reposition it.

I bought this underbed motion activated led light strip to use as a gun safe lighting system. The strip worked perfectly for my application. The strip was able to be cut into 3 separate light runs for above the door, left, and right side. The pull back to expose adhesive on the led strip is light weight yet after 14 days it is still tightly holding to the inside of the safe frame. It arrived with all parts listed. One toggle switch and one heat motion switch. When the safe door opens the safe lights right up. The motion detector can be adjusted for both sensitivity and time to remain on. These adjustments are behind the rear cover. I am totally satisfied with my purchase. Install took less than 5 minutes and it gives the gun safe the look of the $200 systems. Arrived inside of 48 hours. I highly recommend this for a gun safe / cabinet app.

This is a quality product and easy to install. The light is a little brighter than I would like, but the color is accurate, i.e. not harsh blue. The motion sensor is very sensitive. I haven't tried to adjust the sensitivity or the delay time. The adhesive on the back of the light strip works very well. I tried to install the light strip via touch to the underside of the cabinet thinking it would not matter since we would not be looking directly at the lights. I forgot about the reflection from the granite countertop. It's a little crooked. I'm a little OCD so I wish I had taken more time to install the light strip straight. Just word to the wise.

I purchased this for a (somewhat large) gun safe. Installation was very quick and easy. It took much longer for me to measure and plan exactly where I wanted cut the LED strip (with a lot of second-guessing and changing my mind, and some tinkering with the motion sensor adjustments), than it did to actually cut and install everything.The LED strip is made up of 50 "segments" of 3 LEDs each, and can be cut and spliced between segments. I cut mine into three sections of 19(side)/12(top)/19(side) segments with the extension wires in between. I avoided cutting and splicing at the segment joints that were soldered together, because I wasn't sure if the solder blobs would be harder to secure in the clip connectors. Don't forget to pull the adhesive backing away from the end before attaching the clip connector.There is a good length of wire attached to the LED strip itself, and on the power supply, so it was easy to have the motion sensor at the top-right-front corner of the safe, while the power supply is plugged in at the bottom-right-back corner inside the safe. I adjusted the delay time down slightly, from the default/maximum of around 5 minutes, to about 4 minutes.Overall, I'm very happy with these lights and the motion-sensor + on/off switch features.

these are ok, not great. key issues:1) the light sensor doesn't work well. mine turn on in very bright light. there's a dial you can adjust, but it doesn't seem to affect much. not sure if mine is defective or not.2) you get two modular switches. one is a physical on/off switch. the other is a motion+light sensor switch. you have to choose to install one, the other, or both in serial. what this means is that you cannot set it up to normally be a motion detector, but for you to flip to "on" mode when you want. in order to do that you have to uninstall the motion switch and plug in the physical switch. while the circuitry would have been slightly more complex to implement, they could have saved money in physical parts to do this right.

At first I hated the motion sensor but after several hours, yes hours, of tinkering I finally got it to work. Now it turns on in the day time and at night. I wish the cords were less bulky but everything was as desçribed and expected. I did think the light would be more warm bssed on the advertised kalvin scale. The motion sensor back was broken but doesn't hinder the performance. However I wanted to put a small nail though the holes instead of using the sticky and that is what was snapped off. This was my first time doing something like this and there is definitely some trial-and-error. Now that I've got a handle on the set I definitely see where I could have improved my application. I might try and adjust it by buying 90 ° corners for the cabinets. I would recommend purchasing those separately. The sticky is definitely durable because I had to remove the entire strip and even after reapplying it still stuck. Other than that it was very easy for beginner to install. I feel like the cords would definitely prevent this from being utilized in the entire kitchen as you would need multiple adapters and the cords would be so obnoxious. If you know how to use a soldering iron this kit could be customized to go around larger gaps.

L'oeil magique détecte bien les mouvements et les lumières s'éteignent par elles-mêmes (assez longtemps après, mais tout de même).J'ai eu un petit problème d'adhésif sur une partir de la bande de lumières, mais ça a été facile à corriger.Seul conseil que je donnerais, essayer de poser les lumières pour ne pas les exposer directement. Dans mon cas, c'était pour une maisonnette jouet, j'ai simplement poser les bandes au plafond, mais elles sont très éblouissantes quand on les regarde directement. Pour un dessous d'armoire ou un garde-robe, ça doit être parfait.Essayez de choisir la bonne longueur le plus possible, perso j'aurais hésité à couper et à rattacher ensemble d'autres bandes, mais ça dit que c'est possible.Très complet pour le prix.

Used these in my gun safe. Really makes it easier to see things in there. The lights are nice and bright and the motion sensor works great. Automatically turns off after a few minutes with no movement. Would recommend.

Pleased this kit had everything needed in one.One sided tape held light strip. Optional on/off and/or motion detector choice.Good quality light.
