Love that the fan shuts off when not needed.
Bought these based on the reviews on Youtube. We're a youth theater in a tight space so noise and coverage make a difference. They are silent when the light is off and cool off quickly. The thermostatically controlled fan shuts off in less than a minute after the light is off, which I have not seen in comparable moving heads. We're never going to be able to afford a pro theater light so these were great options. One had a zoom range that was very different than the others and an engineer at Boulder sent instructions and pictures of how to adjust the light within a day. Super impressed.

Really cool lights
These lights don’t disappoint. They are bright and colorful. They really shine with DMX control. I am using four of them in a church and I can’t find anything wrong with them. I really love the fact that the fans cuts off within 1 minutes after the lights are turned off via DMX. Even when I. Use the fans aren’t too loud.

STUCK in reset mode, no directions, Buy a Flurry Z from Blizzard
I purchased this to test and see if there was a difference between the $999 Flurry Z from Blizzard vs. this. Yes there is.First the unit arrived and had been clearly open and resealed. The brackets had marks on them as though it had been hung and then put back into the box, or they are just cheaply made. Could they be using parts that didn't make the "QC" for other vendors? Clearly crossed my mind.I weighed the unit and it was about 1 and a half pounds less than the Flurry by Blizzard. I'm pretty confident that is the difference in the weight for a power supply and electronics inside. In the box is two brackets, a power cord which has clearly been sitting in the box for a long time as the Styrofoam was melted onto the cord, a thin safety cable which appeared to be too thin to use and lastly the light. There are NO DIRECTIONS included and the unit has 15 channels when I was searching through the menu. Good luck trying to figure out what is what. I got frustrated about 10 minutes in when something caused the unit to get stuck into reset mode as you can see from the video.I couldn't get the light to separate into zones because there were no directions. I was trying to get control like the Flurry where you can get the outer ring, inner ring, etc... but yeah I'll pass.If they aren't going to bother putting any directions in the box, there's no way of telling where or who made this light and if it did burn up or catch fire how would you know who was responsible? It clearly reads on the unit "risk of fire".Buy a Flurry....
