Love this!
This was easy to set up and works great. I just swing it into position and back out of the way as needed using the rotating base. When I need to adjust height, tilt or other positioning it's easy to do and stays how I set it. I had previously used a cheap (~£20-30) arm and wasn't sure if the big jump in pricepoint would really be worth it, but I'm really glad I went for this one.

Strong and quality built with a limited range of motion
Like others have mentioned, it has a limited range of motion. To be specific, the issue lies with the first part of the arm which extends immediately after the mount which attaches to the desk. This part can only adjust about 30 degrees either direction past center while the second part of the arm can fold nearly 180 degrees. This means that you absolutely must have clearance of at least 2.5ft directly above where you attach it to the desk because regardless of how you tilt it, the first part of the arm will always be aiming mostly straight up with perhaps a slight tilt (or straight down if you mount it upside down or straight to the side if you mount it sideways). I'll be honest, when I first went to set it up, I thought that I'd have to return it due to how limited the angle of adjustment was, however I quickly realized (probably like most people here) that I just needed to mount it differently than I had envisioned in my head.I'm 100% happy with it now that it's setup and it's very easy to lock into place where my heavy mic doesn't move at all and it feels sturdy enough to be around for a really long time. The way I have it installed, my mic is super close to my mouth but is barely visible on camera while holding the heavy microphone out at an awkward angle and yet it doesn't struggle at all with no visible slipping. This was exactly what I was hoping for.

Excellent low-cost mic windscreen
I’d been using a metal-screen windscreen for my recording mic, and it was okay, but some of my “s” sounds still had sibilance on some songs. It also seemed a bit “cold” to me, but that could be my imagination.I thought I’d give this filter a try—very reasonably priced (ten bucks at the moment) and a double layer of nylon mesh.It easily clipped onto my mic stand. I prefer when the filter goes over the top (in other words, upside down), but it didn’t really fit that way, so I put it on (as you can see in the photos) with the writing the correct way. This is recommended as a windscreen for a specific brand (Blue Yeti), but my mic is an MXL-V63M, and it fits and shields it just fine.To be fair, I haven’t had time to do a lot of recording with it yet—I use this particular mic to lay down vocals on multitrack recordings of my original songs. As a test, I went back to my last recording; the vocal had some sibilance in a section (especially after I added a bit of reverb to it) and a pop for a “b.” I armed a separate track and recorded those lines over with this windscreen. Definitely an improvement!Good windscreen!
