Challenging message let down by jumbled, repetitive writing crying out for a good editor
My headline sums up my feelings really. It’s as though the author got no input whatsoever from a professional editor. This really detracts from the message which is a real shame because his message needs to be heard. The author and I are definitely not in the same quadrant of the political compass. He comes across as a socially conservative. I have however grown increasingly queasy at corporate wokeness and Big Tech’s social & political power. The author has given me words to articulate this better…just way too many words.

Great encyclopedia on corporate scandals you may have forgotten or overlooked
Not the easiest read if you're a newcomer to politics or trying to unravel the new radical "woke" agendaI enjoyed it but a friend had no background on the 2008 crash or political scandals of yesteryear so found it informative but a slog. The author, who has Indian heritage is running for president on the Republican ticket. As a victim of his own success and wanting the best for his company and shareholders he fell foul of the "woke" game by refusing to participate. So he should be an interesting candidate for having first hand knowledge of this strange creepy political correctness obsession that has engulfed the US and UK and refusing to bow to it.

An excellent insider expose of the impact of Corporate "woke" in the USA
This book is written by a former Pharmaceutical CEO and first generation immigrant to the USA. It is written in a very engaging and approachable style yet it is a forensic (fully referenced) critique of the way in which the woke 'religion' is fundamentally undermining all the safeguards the founding fathers put into the US Constitution to protect the people from overbearing malign influence. Importantly it also proposes very straight forward ways in which existing laws could be used to redress the balance. Highly recommended.

Too fragmented a review of politicisation of business
It’s not a very good book in my opinion so I will not do a detailed review but it does highlight how corporate profits are being diverted to social causes, good and bad, in the USA. It enables directors of public companies to espouse their favourite causes and signal their virtues while shareholders pay the cost of this munificence.

MUST-read for anyone looking to get a 360-degree perspective
The mainstream media delivery a daily stream of articles why "being woke" is good. This book takes a more critical stance, and addresses issues that much of the mainstream media is unwilling or unable to address. If you are looking to get a complete overview of the subject of "wokeneomics", this is THE book you need to read.I give it five stars both for its content and the author's willingness to take flak for addressing inconvenient truths.

Fantastic Book
I bought this for a close friend's birthday (along with a can of green giant corn, haha) and he loved it. It's a beautiful book, with a beautiful hardback or paperback cover, and of course Great Content.

Fantastic
Fantastic book so far. The author is breaking down things as if he were in the room with you speaking. So much of what he says resonates in respect of lived experience and what ought to be common sense.
