Excellent At A Glance Resource
I am an experienced, professional theatrical costume designer and was delighted to be able to quickly reference this book when faced with questions related to costuming for film. It is a wonderful resource that is quick to read, yet packed with information. No fluff, just facts. I especially appreciated seeing examples of actual costume plot breakdowns so that I could compare my own with what is expected in film and TV. I highly recommend adding this book to your library as guide or practical teaching tool. Note that this book is less focused on the creative process of design and more-so on the practical needs of a production (which is exactly what I was looking for)! So grateful to own this text.

too basic - muy basico
Not polished enough, too basic. A Costume design book should have more images.

Great Information
For someone like me who has never been around movies as they are being made, this was an incredible amount of very cool information. To see so clearly just what everyone's job is. The anecdotes alone are worth the price of the book. The views into not only his career, but others as well. It also stresses the importance of learning. This is a great book I am sure to read again and again.
