I have now re-ordered this product. This, the first item, was probably fine. The wiring instructions essentially were missing. The "holes" on top were numbered correctly leading one to believe the wiring was thru these holes. Totally wrong. The instructions with the second order instructed to insert the wires into the side slots. These side slots were never mentioned in the original. I disassembled the first unit and saw the problem. The second order included instructions that were specific to insert the wiring into the side slots. Obviously lost use of the first unit. The lack of instructions was the problem, not the operation of the unit. Apparently they've fixed that Anyway I lost one unit because of the lack or instructions. I'm not an electrician.

I received what appeared to be an exact replacement part, with correct molded part number, etc. It worked fine for 6 weeks and then the medium speed quit!! I have a high speed and two low speeds. Very frustrating.

I was happy, and a little surprised, to be able to pull apart the light kit on my son’s fan, find a part number, and spend $17 on the exact part I needed. Not cheap, but not $200 for a new fan. Thank you.

Arrived on time. Was exactly like the one in my fan. Installation went well and product functioned as expected. Has been installed now for a while and functions perfectly.

Had to replace the switch in my Hunter ceiling fan, and it appears to be working fine. Word of warning: make sure you document the wiring on the old switch. The wiring on the Hunter website is incorrect.
