The color is great and found matching door knobs at Menards
The small manual comes with the small print, hard to see the worded instruction without a magnifying glass. I was looking for a small fingerprint device under 3 inches for my new "SECURITY DOORS" for my home and found this device from Geek Smart. The install on the security door was great, the fingerprint setup was easy, and now the passcode setup was confusing because you need to use at least 6 digits for the passcode and the instructions does not tell you this, also the Administrator password is the Administrator passcode and the instructions does not tell you this as well, the Administrator password/passcode is found in the "APP" after setup and the Bluetooth remote unlock/lock will not work because you have to buy a "GATEWAY(40$)" to access that specific functionality....SMH and guess what? the instructions does not tell you...hahahahahhahahah! I'm not even going to try the "IC cards"....Finger print works and my 6 digit passcord works and it talks.....happy camper! AWWW yeah the top button does not help with anything just lights up....enjoy!

Quality, Convenient, and Secure
If you're looking for a great alternative to Nest Yale, Simplisafe, Wyze, or Eufy, look no further.Pros:- Comes with more than just fingerprint, Bluetooth, Smart Home, and PIN code unlocking which you'll find limited on Nest Yale, Eufy, Wyze, and Simplisafe.- Includes 2 IC cards that work like NFC where you can badge/swipe to unlock the door. Convenient for when you have gloves on or your elderly parents who can't seem to remember PINs. This was a huge deal for me. I was also able to add and use existing IC cards for other Geek Smart products I own.- Easy to install and setup in the app. I already own the L-B400 door knob so I only needed to add the device rather than install the app and create an account which is also ez. Manual is very easy to follow.- Includes 2 keys to manually unlock the door in case you lose your IC cards, can't use fingerprint or PIN touchpad.- App settings allow you to assign/create specific users for each device separately which is really nice. Can't do that on stupid NEST/Google, Simplisafe, Or Wyze. Not sure about Eufy.- No security breaches or security issues unlike Nest Yale, Wyze, or Eufy.- Audio notification for lock and unlocked statuses.- Bright PIN touchpad- Discrete swivel fingerprint pad to access physical key unlock if needed- Fingerprint works really really well and is quality. I've had it fail to recognize both my thumbs 1/10 tries, but probably user error as you have to scan multiple sections of your thumb for better recognition. So you can't scan the tip of your thumb and expect your entire thumb print to be recognized.- PIN touchpad had no issues recognizing inputs or touch sensitivity. Used touch sensitive gloves and they worked fine. Numbers are well spaced apart so you don't far finger 2-3 numbers at once.Cons:- Wish it came in White or Silver color- Wish the app allowed you to upload existing users, fingerprints, PINs, and IC cards from other devices so you don't have to recreate them each time...unless you can and I missed something...- Might be a con for you: requires gateway device for Smart Home devices to connect. I don't want to add it to my smart home so I don't care for this.- Wish it was Fridays voice

Good and cheap smart lock but instructions could be better
I previously bought one of their interior smart locks, which was really easy to install. That was one of the reasons I decided to buy this smart lock for my front door. The instructions were not that clear to a not very handy person. The QR code linked to a video of the previous version and I could not figure out why when selecting lock the lock instead unlocked and vice versa. Eventually I figured out that I selected the wrong hinge direction on the app. All the wasted time could have been avoided with a better instructions and video (the latter was given to me after I contacted support). However, I still haven't figured out how to use a code to unlock the door. Waking up the numeric pad is not consistent and the code I saved never worked. The fingerprint on the other hand works really well, but it took several tries to save it during setup.

Good lock / installation instructions not so clear
The lock works as expected. My only complaint is that I followed the instructions and installed it for a left hinged door. Lock would not work or stay locked. After messing with it I just figured I would reverse the operation in the app. That was the trick. I had to tell the app it was a right hinged door when it clearly was a left hinged door. This is a coding thing, have your coders address this in the app. Other than that it was installed and works as expected.
