Boarding Kennel Management, 2nd Edition

I bought this in hopes it would help me in working/managing the kennel I work for. I knew before buying it, it was mostly on building and starting a new business, but was hoping that it would give a good bit of info after the fact as well since I work at an already established boarding kennel. It didn't provide enough info for me to be worth the money I spent, but still found useful info it. It was still neat to read and compare how the kennel I work for was built and the suggestions he gives. I just can't find any books on managing one after everything is built and you have already established clients. I was hoping to find something that I could compare how we do/run things to other kennels and maybe get new ideas or tips on how to be more efficient etc. still I found it interesting, just wished I didn't spend so much $ on it. Definetly a good book if you are thinking about building a kennel.

I brought this book along with another of the same subject, The first one was so in depth, it was hard to read and confusing unless you are an arctitect. This book gave the same information in a way that was intresting, factual and helpful. I loved the way it laid out plans (easy to read)and covered many bases of the industry. I highly recomend to anyone in the kennel/boarding business or looking to start one.

It was helpful. More helpful then other books I came across. Had various information that you could use for small or larger kennels.

This book has helpful tips and ideas for anyone who owns or is thinking of starting up a boarding kennel.

This is an excellent book in that it covers all the parts of constructing and owning a kennel in simple, easy to understand language. It was so good that after reading it initially, I decided to purchase my own copy.

If you are already is the pet biz this book is not very helpful.
