Messy Marvin Indestructible Tote

I bought this bag off another website. I have literally used it a few times and I am already annoyed with it. The buckles on the two straps keep sliding down, not the best thing to realize on a plane ride cross country with a child in tow. They slide down and become uneven so an already frazzled mommy looks even more undone! Another annoying peeve is that if the bag is slightly filled to the middle then the magnetic closure does not work and since its not strong enough be prepared to gather your child's essentials off the plane floor. Yuck! I wish the bag stood upright and had some sort of darts on the bottom that wouldn't let the bag touch the ground. Yes, its water proof and indestructible material but the functionality needs to be reassessed.Trying to contact customer service to see what can be done but the website is not very user friendly to navigate.

When I got this diaper bag, I was so excited. I read lots of reviews that were great from bloggers all over the internet. It is definitely waterproof, which I love. I had a water bottle spill in one of the interior pockets, and it did not leak into the big part of the bag. I have spot cleaned it and there are some things that just don't come out very well. I guess it comes with the territory of getting an ivory bag. Here is my main problem. One of the buckles on the handles has always come apart--but it only happened once a month or so. Now however, it is like the buckle is no longer spring loaded, and the strap won't stay buckled at all. I have tied the handle where the buckle has failed. However, I'll need to get another diaper bag. Here's why I gave one star---I understand that things happen. Buckles break. What I don't understand is that I have emailed the company twice, asking if they will replace the bag, or send a buckle, ANYTHING. I have gotten NO RESPONSE. It has now been almost three weeks since I emailed. It is just very disappointing that 1) a $125 dollar bag failed and 2) that in the days of rapid response and technology, that the company has yet to respond.EDIT/UPDATE-After posting this review, I was contacted by the company. Apparently when they tried to email me, my email address was misspelled. They immediately sent out a new bag along with a tracking number. So glad we got it resolved! I love this bag!
