So bummed
I prefer Vanilla protein shakes because I can change up the flavors, where as with Chocolate you have to find something that mixes with chocolate. (I love to use cold early gray tea, a splash of vanilla almond milk, and some ice. Delicious way to start the day!) My best friend loves the Paleoethics chocolate, so we both decided to give the vanilla a try. That was a mistake. It has this awkward sweet yet rancid flavor to it. I'm having trouble forcing myself to drink this, and I haven't been able to find any added ingredients to cover up the flavor. My best friend said the same thing. After having Shakeology Vanilla, nothing will compare, but this was the worst out of all of the substitutes I've tried.

Great Product
I have been using this protein for a few years now, it is much better than other proteins as it's contents do not include a lot of carbs, and since I mix mine into a smoothy with vitamin adding my fresh garden veggies and some blue berries taste is not an issue. If you are serious about needing protein in your daily diet look no more this is all you need.

Clean Product, mix with hot/warm water
I have been using this for close to a near and I live the stuff. I take it after every WOD and I continue to get stronger while I am slowly dropping weight. The users are correct that mixing it can be tough, even in a blender bottle. The best method I have found is to put hot warm in, then the powder and shake well right away. The mixture still maintains it consisancy after it cools down. You can even put it in the fridge over night if you want it cold.

Verify before opening
I ordered the vanilla protein powder to go into a cheesecake recipe...opened the canister to put a scoop into the recipe..they sent me strawberry. Now that I've opened it, I can't return it...and now I spent $40 on protein powder that I don't really like...because I only like chocolate and vanilla.I put two stars because it's actually rather chalky, tried it in a smoothie (strawberries, spinach, chocolate milk, black coffee, and this protein powder - with chocolate protein powder, this tastes fantastic!).
J**!
More people need to become familiar with this product. Not enough advertising.
This “is” the cleanest protein powder on the market today!! Has all necessary amino acids without the grainy taste. Plus, with vanilla you can change the flavor to your liking, fruity, greens, chocolate, etc.

Taste
The taste was a lil off at first compared to other vanilla products. The powder is very fluffy so shaking it in bottle is sometimes difficult. Overall love having it after my workouts.

Totally acceptable
Great protein mix for a price that’s a bit expensive. I found the protein easy to mix into liquids and the flavor wasn’t half bad.

No more whey bloating
Taste is not great, but not terrible. The best part is that it does not bloat me up like whey.

Where's the grass-fed beef?
This is one of those products where there will be many different opinions on it.## Follow up – After using up the pouch I can’t say that it has been any better or worse than other similar products I use. Since it’s more money, and there’s getting to be a lot more competition out there bring us non-GMO health products I can’t justify buying this in the future, sorry guys.Personally I don't mind the taste, even just taking some on the tip of a teaspoon. I wouldn't call it vanilla flavoured and considering that the word vanilla used twice in the description I was thinking it would have a much stronger flavour than it does. When mixed in a smoothie or when we're juicing and add it to the juice it has no distinguishable flavour that I personally notice. When I open the bag the scent is not unpleasing to me.When used in the smoothies and juice it mixes well, no clumping. Since it has a light orange tinge it also doesn't colour anything its added to, except straight water of course. Even here for me it’s palatable and this is a good thing as I know a lot of people who will use protein powders in just water. How well does it work, that's something that will take a lot longer than a few weeks to determine with any degree of satisfaction. One noticeable item, when compared to the other PALEOETHICS products, none of the ingredients here are listed as organic. It states that there are no soy, nuts, or corn products used which would eliminate a lot of GMO crud. The verbiage that's provided here (the product description on this page) by the company states grass-fed beef is used however there is no mention of this on the packaging, none. This is an important item so why was it left off the package? It makes the whole thing suspect to me.The Nutrition Facts lists that one serving; two scoops contain 10% of your daily sodium intake. That's a lot for such a small amount and in my opinion completely unnecessary.I applaud their intention, to provide GMO free health products but in every case they seem to have missed the mark. Other products they produce include that nasty little ingredient that shows up everywhere, “natural flavours”. This can be and has been interpreted in many ways but mostly it means some company like McCormick's has supplied chemicals that were derived from plant matter but in the process have been treated with so many other chemicals that the end result is anything but natural. They get away with using the word “Natural” because the flavours came from food stuffs vs. a straight up chemical concoction. At least this protein powder doesn't list this as an ingredient but a company that would use it in other products leaves me suspect of the way they produce what the sell. Using the word Natural is a marketing ploy, why would a company that is engaged in providing health products use a marketing ploy like this, leave that to the breakfast cereal companies. Here’s it’s turned me off the whole line up of items they produce.Unfortunately, like the other PALEOETHICS products I've tried I can't say this is something I would rush out to buy, especially at this price.End result for me is that I will give it a pass.
