Had a fence that was sagging bad. After some research I went with these strong brackets. Each gate weighs 80 pounds and the product description said, "Heavy Duty design, maxium support weight of 240lb for a pair of this shelf bracket" If a pair can hold 240 pounds then how about 8 per gate!They came with a nice black finish, individually wrapped in plastic and I decided to use the 12” side down on all 16 which made everything uniform. They were all square and we were able to rebuild the gate perfectly level.Didn’t use the screws that came with the item because I wanted to use the same wood screws across the entire gate. Only negative is that the cross brace made some of the screws hard to access so I had to use an extension. A bother but not enough to take away a star.Similar brackets were $13-$18 a piece at other stores so the value is fantastic.Now I have an aesthetically pleasing gate, that will last for many years!

Bought these to add a 12ft long shelf in my shop. They work great! Easy to install and definitely able to support a lot of weight. Biggest down fall of them tho is when you see screwing these to the wall you need a really long extension to not strip out the screws. Other than that, couldn’t have been any easier

This was exactly what I needed to put up a shelf in the garage.My friend came over with his tools and had the shelf up in minutes,nice and level.These brackets are nice and at a decent price.I will be buying more.Highly recommend.

I needed some permanent shelving in my new garage and I give these a try and they are remarkably sturdy and they have a nice finish on it.

Each bracket is about $2.65 a piece, that is an amazing value, because if you go to the hardware store for this same item it would have cost about $10 a piece. That is a savings of almost $150.Okay enough about that. They are very good quality. We used these brackets for shelves in the garage and they work great.

I ordered these in order to install custom cat shelves around my apartment. I have maine coon crosses and they are about the size of an aussie shepherd, so the normal 'XL' cat shelves on the market absolutely didn't stand a chance. I needed something sturdy that would stand up to the abuse a couple of extremely playful 3', 30 lbs of muscle cats would subject them to. The local hardware stores in town wanted $6 EACH for the support brackets of half this size and quality, so to amazon I went. These are a great deal. They're honestly very sturdy, exactly what I was looking for. I didn't expect them to come with screws, tbh, so I went out and bought some before these arrived, but to my surprise they came with enough screws for twice as many brackets, in multiple sizes, so honestly I will absolutely be buying these again. Great deal for the price. 100% worth it.

I installed some a few weeks ago, they've been holding some heavy stuff with no problems. As of last night, I've installed all 20 of them. I'm very satisfied. The screws provided are good enough unless you're installing into masonry, obviously.Edit: In addition to the 20-pack black mentioned above, I recently purchased the 16-pack white. Same great quality, different screws for some reason (bronze/gold color as opposed to black) but same great quality. These are half the price of the big green home improvement place. I am a big fan!
