Triplett DIY-KIT Homeowner Essentials 4-Piece Tool Kit

I work on vacuum cleaners and some of them have special tamper proof screws. This kit works great when it comes to taking them apart.

This little set saved me hundreds of dollars... my Delonghi coffee maker was acting up, and this set allowed me to get into the area (where only techs are supposed to go) and easily fix my machine. Well made and the case is very sturdy

No complaints with the bits.Wish the container was a little sturdier though. Mine broke the first day. Still a very good value.

This is the only set like this I found on Amazon.com which has 6 spanner bits. One I ordered before this showed 5 in the photo, but only had 4 when I received it. Rereading the product description for that set, it did say 4 even though there were 5 sizes in the photo so I just kept it. One review noted disappointment a spanner bit broke. Every mechanical device, including tools, have operating characteristics, capabilities, including for receiving the application of, and for applying torque forces. The smaller the spanner bit, the less force it can accept. Maybe less force would have been needed in that application, by properly using a penetrating oil, heat if some type of thread sealant was used, and so on. Sometimes the various forces, operating conditions are simply too much. A well know example of this is what happened to o-ring seals on a US Space Shuttle engine before. I find these bits to have worked when using reasonable force for the bit. In one need that I had two weeks ago, this was the only source of various sets and metric sized tools, for a quite small metric bit. I was very concerned the bit was going to break or strip or strip the bold head, before the bolt loosened (in an electronic assembly where is was risky to use a penetrating oil or apply heat). The bit took worked.Regarding quality, you can also buy on Amazon.com Chapman MFG bit sets. I've use those for years. If their bit sets have what you need, get those if you want good quality tools.

More than half of the bits have flaws ( dimples off center, flashing between tines) and while I haven't used anything other than the #14 spanner bit I seriously doubt most of the flawed bits will work on security fasteners. 2 stars because the one bit I really needed worked and the whole set was cheaper than buying a single #14 spanner bit.

Really cool, but I wouldn’t recommend for every day, professional use. I use it around the home for different tasks, and I love that I can change bits, quickly, but I feel like it would break if I was using it at work, constantly.

These bits seem sturdy and did the job.

Barely able to drive screws with even the slightest amount of torque. The loading mechanism works fine but its a moot point if the screw drive cant drive a basic screw

Awesome automatic screwdriver... quick and easy. Husband loves it.
