I was adviced to place the blade flat on the wet stone with the spine in contact with the wet stone, and simply slide it forward.THIS DOESN'T WORK ON THIS BLADE.Due to the thickness of the spine (back of the blade), sliding it flat against the wet stone yields negligible results when trying to sharpen it.TO SHARPENLift the spine of the blade a few milimeters (by twisting the tang/handle of the blade) off the surface of the wet stone. Then push on the wet stone. You'll be able to sharpen the blade effectively in minutes.

Item arrived minus the razor and wet stone

Everything in the product description are lies. There are no words that can describe my frustration. Reading the reviews and description, i thought, i was buying a razor with shave ready edge but it is as blunt as a tomato. It can only cut a movie scene let alone shave my face. After two days of honing and stroping, i mean like thousands of passes on both the whetstone and the strop, it can barely cut a tensioned hair. The stone that comes with it can only be a good door stopper and nothing else. Why would you send a gritless stone with a razor with no edge i don't know. I don't know what to do with it. I would give minus stars if i could.
