(UPDATE: I've now had these over a year and I use them regularly - not daily, but often - and they are still in tact and no holes that I worried about happening to them because of the easily scuff marks on them once you used them. I guess rubber just scuffs, but still no holes in any of them - and they still work SO great! I won't ever use Silicone again. And I recommend these and would buy the exact same ones again.) I am So glad I got rubber jar openers! I've used enough silicone ones to know all they do is slide round and round... these don't! I've also already used two at a time - one to hold the container and one to unscrew/open the top and it worked great. The only reason I didn't give it an overall 5 star is because when I used them (the 2 round ones), they got white marks on them, like scuff marks except they're from gripping the tops that caused the marks, and I don't know if that means they might not last very long or get holes in them easily. But aside from that - I love these. They're thin which makes for better holding/gripping. Great value for the price. It's a set of 4: 2 round, 2 square. They work great and have made it easier for opening hard to open tops (different sizes). I've needed to use a little muscle on some really Super tight plastic bottle tops (a little larger than soda bottle size - it was ice tea plastic bottles, more like Snapple drink size tops), but I'm also a 60 y/o female and Everything's more difficult at my age! These have been very helpful so far. Unless they get holes, rip or fall apart quickly, I give them 5 stars and recommend them.

The set includes four jar openers for different sized jars. They are grippy and help open even the most stubborn lids. It is less frustrating than using a slippery kitchen towel. While they are not terribly thick, I think they will last for a while. Happy with this purchase so far.

Perfect for MY purposes but NOT as jar opener grips. If you try opening a bottle or jar with these you will get frustrated because they only spin around. However, they work fantastic to protect your fingers when removing hot instant rice packets or steamable vegetable packages from your microwave or hot dishes or plates of food. They give you protection from the heat plus give you some grip. I always toss one down to set my mug of hot tea on. They also work under your indoor plant pots. Ez to swish in your dish water & rinse to clean. Take up hardly any space in your kitchen drawer when stored. I am very happy with my multi use grippers even though they don't work to help you open bottles or jars.

I previously purchased some fancy doodads with dedicated contraptions that open differently sized lids and all that. Those sucked. When I saw these simple, dimple gripper pads, I had a feeling they would be way better than the "fancy" stuff and guess what? I was right (naturally)! I returned the other stuff, and actually ordered a second 4-pack of these circle and square gripper pads they're that good. There are some things that are chronically hard for me to open, so when I used these pads and they made opening those little devils so easy, I knew they had passed my tests with flying colors! Great buy, would definitely recommend to anyone who has trouble opening (or tightening in certain situations) anything and just needs a quick and easy solution.

I have issues with my thumbs periodically so these tools can be game changers. Over recent years I have been very impressed with silicone products and the durability. I had a free promotional rubber jar opener/gripper, and I could tell by texture it was lower grade. It lasted for years maybe due to limited use but finally tore. Thus, I opted to transition to a silicone product. This 4-pack is THIN, but I kept my old one to compare the texture and they clearly feel different. I pulled at the edges, and I feel this are far and away MUCH more DURABLE than my prior. You can feel the quality in your fingers. The BLUE color is nicer than the green color (olive or forest would be nicer) but not a big deal given the usage and it will sit in a drawer mostly. I give it a test-run with one and it got the lid off my large jar of sundried tomatoes with ease. I like that I have a 4-pack just in case there is a casualty with a very stubborn jar. I will update this review if anything negative occurs.

Ok, it looks like 4 simple rubber pads. Well to tell you, we cannot live without them. They bare great for openning all types of jars. They really work They're Great.

The green one is worth all the cost! It’s very well made! The blue ones will still get the job done, they’re just thinner than I would like. The cost is worth it for the green one alone.

Got these for elderly father who could no longer open most jars and plastic tops. He loves them. They’re easy to use and very safe- don’t slip at all. They are thin which make them suitable for practically anything yet very durable. Very inexpensive.
