What a great set but the knife block was cracked.As a chef the set almost ticks all the boxes... The boning knife is a few inches too long, the chef knife could be one or two inches shorter and no scissors... but you get shears! A meat carving knife would be nice. Also no warranty, no paperwork & no instructions of which knife goes where... a large set ;)A knife also appears to be missing... but stopped unwrapping them as the block is DOA.At $127 on sale order this TAO set!Contacted Seller and they said return and reorder. Well, you get what you paid for. It’s cheap, so don’t expect too much. As matter of fact, it’s really good quality knives. The only problem here it’s the block holder. Very very unwell constructed, cheap material, and it feels like it’s going to break apart on your hands while you moving around. The holes for the knives barely fit the knives in, you can play around all day to see if you find the perfect hole for a specific knife and after hours you’re going to realize that you just wasted your time because there is not such a thing. One or another will be halfway in. Other than that, good knives!

Read reviews on this before I purchased. Everyone concentrated on the block. And they were right. It's absolute garbage. I prefer to put my knives in spine down. It will not hold them this way. The knives themselves are OK. Few bent blades and a hairline crack in one of the handles but that's to be expected at this price point. I find the handles comfortable. You get what you pay for...
