So Much More Than A Love Story ❤
A truly amazing story that will take a piece of your heart and stay with you after the end. Pierce Harbor is the last of the illegitimate Bancroft brothers that has made his way successfully through life under their radar...or so it seems. Running his non profit Tiny Home Project of helping Vets to get a well deserved second chance at a normal life has been front and center for Pierce. That is until he steps into a children's bookstore looking for a baby shower. Single mom Meredith co owns a children's bookstore with her best friend and loves to see her five year old daughter, Millie, share her passion for books. There is a connection and a feeling of rightness not only for Pierce and Meredith but with Millie as well.Their story is a slow burn, get to know you. Meredith has trust issues considering Millie's dad is a bad boy she should have stayed away from but has no regrets over the gift he gave her. Just when things are settling into place obstacles fall in their path that tests their limits of trust. Pierce and Meredith have to figure out if is their final love affair or go their separate ways.I love that Ali Parker gives Pierce the ability to help his Veteran brothers and sisters to reclaim some sort of normalcy of life...I salute you. Millie also plays such a strong part of this story and will also steal a piece of your heart. His/her POV, no cheating, no cliffhanger and a HEA for this ready made family. A must read story where the characters feel real to life. Than you Ali Parker!!!I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Pierce and Meredith!
Pierce was the content with the life he has built as his company gives other men who served their country a new beginning. When he visited the store where Meredith is a partner, he never expected to become so enchanted with mother or daughter that he can’t imagine a future without them.Meredith hasn’t made the best decisions when it comes to the men in her life however Pierce may be the exception to the rule and her daughter Millie agrees however when her past resurfaces will it end the relationship they are trying to build?A heartwarming romance combines with some family drama as Pierce, Meredith and Millie fight for the future they all deserve.

A manly man with a good heart
This story of a single mom named Meredith, meeting a man who immediately accepted and bonded with her and her 5-year old daughter, Millie. Great! But it both frustrated and entertained me.I could not decide which emotion dominated more.To my mind, the hot and cold games Meredith played, throwing tantrums over two really idiotic things, seemed to be very immature considering the fact that she is reportedly a woman accustomed to carrying the full responsibility of raising her daughter alone, while starting her own business with her friend. As often happens, steamy scenes change to cold-shouldering and rejection in split seconds. Couples do things the wrong way around, such as becoming extremely intimate immediately, moving in together, getting engaged and married only much, much later, which leads to massive insecurity for both, break-ups, tears, distraught children, being influenced by heartfelt but Godless advice from friends, ongoing conflicts causing angst, while extending the story to double its size. Actually, I found the story to be repetitive. Then, while reading, my pratical mind thinks about the protagonists soaking the bed by jumping on it straight from the hot tub, like children, and the strong possibility of slipping on wet tiles and breaking bones, and the way they regularly throw their clothes all over the floor, and don't ever mention nosy neighbours who witnessed the all-nighters. But the worst for me was the trailer rocking, with loud sounds, while a whole construction crew looked on and witnessed her walk of shame afterwards. How could she ever face them afterwards?Millie is portrayed as a delightful little girl. I liked that she benefitted tremendously by being raised to love books in her mom's bookshop. It it a story reflecting society's current normal standards. We wish them well.

Absolutely incredible!
Meredith reminds me of myself. Hurt by a man she thought would make her happy. She's no where near ready for that again. She has a daughter she raised in her own and she was live dream running a bookstore with her best friend.Pierce never took time to settle or do anything for himself. He's a respectable ex military man who lives to fix/help people. Walking into that bookstore changed his life. The little girl stole his heart and her mom stole his breath. But all single mom's have their demons....an ex who shows up needing help, fear of falling for the wrong man again, fear of failing, not being good enough, fear of everything. Sometimes the right man just shows up and you need to leave the fear behind to make room for love, can she do it?My favorite Ali Parker book EVER!!!!!!

Broke my heart just to put it back together
Pierce, a non-profit owner, heads into a children’s bookstore owned by Meredith and her best friend looking for a baby shower gift for his half-brother’s pregnant wife. As the story progresses he bites off more than he can chew, mistakes made are more than a few, and repairing the relationship will take more than both of them thinking I love you. Ali Parker broke my heart just to put it back together in My Final Love Affair. While this book marks the end of Art Bancroft’s prolific brood being single, I wonder if the author might dip into the Canadian side of the family at all.I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

Enjoyable book
Really loved this book, but was disappointed we never found out how the boys discovered they had the same father. I wish there was another book in this series with all the boys with a update on their lives since there seems to be a lot of missing pieces after each book.
