I used to get hammertoe from narrow shoes like Nikes. Possibly from playing kickball growing up..After my first pair of Mizuno waves I could tell my feet were having less pain from flat feet, hammertoe and feet fatigue. Most of my other shoes are Wave riders and a couple pairs of Asics which are not quite as supportive because of the wave plate which is incredible feeling and lasts. I don’t buy Nikes anymore even though I love the styles, they have a lot of science to catch up on compared to Mizuno. Not ONE PAIR OF MY MIZUNOS HAS EVER STARTED SQUEAKING OR MAKING NOISE.The first pairs I got 11.5 which i thought was perfect until I got some 11s on sale and they seemed a little snug at first but after wearing and comparing them to exact same model I noticed that the 11.5 were getting toe creases and 11 were not and the 11s were now fitting perfectly. The 11.5 still feel really good with more toe room but don’t look as good with the creases toes.(Note: I have a very casual gait and do not run much..lots of EV use. My shoes last forever..there’s that too) I just don’t have a ton of cushioning on bottom of my feet anymore, hard smooth concrete bruises ball of foot so I just wear these all day trying to switch pairs every 4 hours if possible. This is important at WORK if you want feet to feel a little better and keep shoes longer.Do not hesitate to wash these but use a fan to dry. (Take out sole.)These shoes are not as refined as the older wave riders and the style is lacking because of that..kinda looks like styrofoam and not very cushiony. They are super lightweight.The sole is hard, noisy and can get slick. They slip sideways easily. Feels like they would run good in dry grass and dirt but not concrete.

First walk i used them walked 9 1/2 miles amazing. You don't realize Your even wearing a shoe..wow
