If you are having carburator trouble or yours is incorrect or missing like mine, then look no further. I looked everywhere for the correct used carburetor to buy and rebuild and could not find one for my 79 CJ5. After reading all the reviews for this brand new unit, I decided to give it a try. I am really glad I did. It performs flawlessly right out of the box. Comes with the bale and wingnut for your air cleaner, and also has an electric choke which works perfectly with no adjustments. My Jeep starts up immediately no matter what the temperature is and it runs excellent down the road! Idle quality is fantastic! Put your old carb in the box this one comes in, and enjoy better fuel efficiency, startups, and a smooth, powerful engine!

Easy to install if you have basic tools. Pretty hard to start unless it's warmed up. doesn't adjust very well, but decent for the price. Wish they had machined the choke tube because can't use the factory intake heat tube, also throttle pin is facing incorrect Direction which can't be removed, had to cut and turn and weld the throttle linkage so this carb worked. But Jeep does run and drive so that's worth 3 stars
