Worth their price
I wanted a higher quality pair of in ear headphones when larger full size ones are too hard to transport and these seemed promising. I don't care for having volume controls on headphones so I prefer this design. They have high quality feeling very small aluminum housings that are light weight, and you get plenty of tip sizes to choose from to fit them properly. A pleather carry case and ear clips are also included. Simply put, the best way to describe the sound is detailed, accurate, yet smooth. Perhaps even a little boring. Everything is presented fairly evenly and they are never harsh or fatiguing. They play complex music quite effortlessly. They aren't as bright or bass heavy as my Sony V6 headphones so in comparison sounded a little dull to me at first but if you listen carefully you can pick out the details in music. The wires seem thin but have held up fine over this last month of use. I feel they are a decent value, and will update this review if they ever stop working. (Also, I emailed Final asking about the frequency response and got a reply in about a week or two saying 20-20k hz and an attachment showing a relatively flat frequency response graph)

Fantastic! Need good power
Easy steps to get amazing sound from these:1. Must get good seal from ear tips.2. Get an amp or LG phone with quad DAC. These are not easy to drive despite the low impedance rating. For experienced IEM users, those are obvious. But for people who are not familiar with them, I can't stress enough the importance of good seal. These, or any other IEMs, will either sound tiny and harsh if the tips are too small, or boomy and muffled if they're too big for your ears. I have to use a different size for each ear. I spend days experiment of tips. The sound I got with Comply Isolation foam is very good, taming a bit of high frequency. Plus they are super comfortable for me. But now I'm back to the Final OEM silicone tips, which give a more detailed sound. The silicone tips are not as comfortable, and take a bit of twisting and positioning to give good seal. Comfort is outstanding. Once fit in, I can forget that they're there. They don't isolate very well due to open back design. The sound I got from the E2000 is simply amazing, driven with my LG V20 and Tidal Hifi. Spacious and airy - not cavernous, feels like a big ball of sound around my head with great separation of vocal and instruments. Bass is strong but lacks a some weight. But I'm not into heavy bass so it's great. Mid is a bit recess and treble is elevated slightly. Vocal is still clear, but there's no doubt this is a V-shape sound signature. These definitely sound bigger than a few full size headphones I tried - Status CB1, Sony WH-1000XM2, AudioTechnica M50x, and PSB M4U 8. Compared to Final Heaven V, which I've owned for a few weeks now, they're mainly just... different. Heaven V gives a more forward mid, heavier bass, and supreme isolation, while E2000 is light, spacious, and somewhat bright. I love the Heaven V and will keep them, but I did not hear $250 worth of better sound.

Great earphones with crisp sound and amazing value, Audiphiles should look at E3000
So I tried this headphones along with the more expensive E3000 to see which I like better and here are my thoughts.E2000 is Aluminium and while still very very high quality for the price range. E3000 is made out of stainless steel and it feels and look great, it has more heft and more premium feel to it. The rest of the package is identical, the wires, accessories in the box, etc... It comes with additional ear pieces in different sizes but I found the installed ones to be comfortable so I didn't try any of the others. Speaking of which, the rubber ear pieces are quite comfortable for long listening and fit and stayed in my ear with no issues.E3000 vs. E2000The E2000 is a fantastic headphone, BUT it was a bit bright for my liking, and TIRING for longer listening... it definitely lacked bass and generally I think works better for more techno, electronic music, while E3000 works for Jazz, Blues, etc... (Audiophile music). For comparison, I listened to them on my desktop with an external DAC, AND on my iPhone listening to lossless Tidal music. I compared on Rock, Jazz, Blues, and some pop and electronic music and found that E2000 had a "higher" treble that to me sounded a bit harsh and too much attenuated, and I actually had to LOWER the volume on my iPhone for it to be comfortable to listen to, while on E3000, I could go to Max volume. I attribute this to some boost at higher frequencies on E2000.At the end, I returned the E2000 and kept E3000. You can't really go wrong with either, but it kinda depends what do you prefer. So, if you're more of an audiophile, prefer a flatter sound, like a bit higher quality material, the E3000 is a better earphone, if you listen more to Pop, Electronics and like crisper sound, E2000.Either case, GREAT VALUE for these Japanese earphones. Highly recommended!Pros:- Very light and easy to wear- High quality Aluminium enclosure, above the price range- Great midrange- 3.5mm jack works with iPhone battery pack (see pics)- Easy to drive with your phone- Overall a sounding earphone, best suited for Pop, electronics musicCons:- No volume or phone control- The wire could be slightly better, but at $45, it's quite adequate- Highs are a bit boosted, so sounds a bit bright and tiring on long listening- Not enough Bass (for my taste)- Not as high quality as E3000 for $10 more

Packing a huge punch in a small package
Paired with a good equalizer, the Final E2000s are awesome and really wake up. Highs are crisp and lows are juicy and satisfying, but responds well to changing any of that with EQ if that's not your style. Good dynamic range as well. Without an EQ they're a bit flat, which might be a good thing for some.Very good and high fidelity for the price, the fit and finish is great. These are satisfying to hold and wear, and feel very durable with the metal case and soft silicon cord.I like them so much I bought another pair to use at work!
