I didn't want to write this review until I dropped my phone with this case on... well today was finally the day, and I accidentally dropped my phone from a height of about 3' onto the garage cement floor. The phone had zero damage!Before the drop, I wasn't sure how protected the phone would be due to the hard plastic exterior of the case, but it seems like the internal lining of the case did a great job in absorbing the shock of the drop.In addition to the drop protection, the case fits my phone perfectly, all the buttons work perfectly, and I really like the extra raised parts of the case that protect the screen and the back-of-the-phone camera lens. The extra bulk of the case has not been an issue... fits in my pockets and car phone holder.The only thing is that the case can slide around on some smooth surfaces (like my desk) almost like a hockey puck, which I think does increase the chances of accidentally bumping the phone causing it to slide off a surface easily. Other than that, it's a solid phone case and great value for the price!

My previous case was a also a 2 layer case, slimmer than this one, but the hard plastic started to discolor and flake off after 2 years and one day, after 3.5 years of use suddenly broke in 2 pieces, without being dropped or hit. One of the reviewers wrote that this case is made of a sturdy thermoplastic material which doesn't age as quickly, so beside the price, this was my primary reason to choose this case.This is a sturdy case. Didn't used the provided 2 pc screen protector sheets, because I already has a different screen protector on. I didn't realize you have to separate the 2 layers of the black case for installing, so initially the buttons for volume didn't work. I took out the phone and separated the 2 layers of the case by pressing on the 2 volume adjustment buttons and then followed the instructions how to put in the phone in 2 steps. After that everything worked fine. The instructions do not tell you how to separate initially the softer inner and harder outer layers of the case, so the manufacturer should update their instructions.My ratings:Looks: 5/5Sturdiness: 5/5Feel (size, touch comfort): 5/5Grippiness: 4/5 The sides are grippy but the back is quite slick.Ease of operating the buttons, access for charging: 5/5Clarity of instructions: 2/5Price: 5/5 (low price)Value for Price: 5/5Overall, I am happy with the purchase. Hopefully, this case wont start aging, "corroding" as quickly as my previous one.The company could improve the grippiness of this case by creating a more textured surface on the back. While this might weaken the sturdiness, maybe they can simply add (fuse) some softer thermoplastic rubber layer over the smooth outer hard layer. This design is routinely used in knife grips, maybe it can be used here too. While it may increase the cost, the overall benefit might be worth.

I really like the case a lot. It seems very sturdy and it fits my phone well. Just disappointed that neither screen protector is the right size. Even with the case on it is too small.

I’ve had this case for a little over six months, and I’m writing this review as I come back to replace it with the same model. The case is thin but not super flimsy, and I’ve had no issues with the glass screen protector despite dropping my phone many, many times.Unfortunately, both of the plastic side pieces have broken, and one is so broken that it warrants replacement. I’ve had plenty of cases that are significantly more expensive that break in the same amount of time, so I’m not too upset about it. It’s mostly my fault for removing the case too roughly (I store cards inside the case). Obviously I will be purchasing again, so I can recommend this item.

Strong and well made case for my IPhone 7s. Came with screen protector and was super easy to put it together. The color was a perfect stately dark blue. All the side button controls all work well. Would absolutely buy again, but will likely not need to as it is super sturdy and well made.
