Fantastic Laptop
I previously owned the Razer Blade 14 and was sad when I had to part with it at the time.I'm definitely glad I went with the 17" this time. The screen real estate is really nice on-the-go, as this doubles as a work machine and gaming laptop for me. When I'm at home, I have an external monitor I use for more work space. No issues there.Where it really shines is the cooling on this bad boy. I bought some simple, adhesive laptop legs to raise the back up so it can breathe better (Anybody whose got knowledge of gaming laptops knows this works just as well as a "cooling pad"). Even under maximum load, the GPU only runs at about 87C, and after 5 hours of intense AAA gaming, the hottest it ever got was 89C. Vapor chamber, raising the laptop, and the bigger foot print of this laptop overall really helps dissipate the heat. The on-board sound isn't terrible either. Of course I did some tweaking on the mixer to dial it in but it can get pretty damn loud.Speaking of noise, this thing runs impressively quiet. Especially when I'm not playing the most DEMANDING games, it's completely tolerable even without headphones. I owned an ASUS TUF laptop a couple years ago and that thing was like sticking your head inside a vaccum cleaner. The 3070 Ti in this model being able to push 150W when needed really squeezes every bit of performance out of this card. Very happy I went with this, over the 4060. I understand the newer card draws less power for similar performance, and has access to DLSS 3.0, but running at 2k this is more than enough.

Owned for nearly a year. Amazing laptop.
It still runs great after a year as most laptops should. Runs all games at max settings without any loss of FPS for example Overwatch, max settings, 120+fps, same with WoW, Cyberpunk i think on high runs 60fps. I've even had WoW in the background in a city, booted up and played a bunch of Overwatch and forgot i'd had WoW in the background for the past hour and didn't notice any drop in performance.2nd, and last part so i can keep this short, is the fan is extremely quiet. My old laptop the fan was so loud you'd have to use headphones to hear anything. This one really is a whisper even when its hot.Only thing i'd improve is it's a little annoying if i leave it unplugged with the lid closed, or if im traveling with it and dont shut it down, after about 5 or 6 hours the battery will be empty. Even with lid closed, sleep active, etc. This battery dies quickly if its unplugged and in sleep mode.Aside from that, amazing rig.[edit] update, same laptop, a year later, still going strong. zero issues.

Absolutely Amazing
I love the computer and it works great for gaming. I absolutely recommend razer products as I have had several over the years with minimal issues.

Razer has big quality control issues
First of all, I want to say this is a very nice laptop and has great build quality.HOWEVER, it appears that Razer has some very poor quality control (or lack there of). Before purchasing this I did read online and saw from many well known tech reviewers that Razer has been known for having QC issues and terrible product support. Unfortunately, I ignored these red flags and went ahead and purchased the 17 inch 2022 model with the 3070ti.Upon receiving it and setting it up I was very pleased with it, until I went to plug it into an external monitor (I actually tried several), via either of the two Thunderbolt 4/USB-C ports which are supposed to support DisplayPort 1.4 video output. Neither port would recognize any monitor I plugged into them (yet data drives/devices work fine with the ports).I reached out the Razer support and about 24 hours later heard back from them and they wanted me to try the usual stupid trial and error steps. Keep in mind that I repair laptops as part of my daily job. I searched the Razer insider forums and found that there are a number of other people with the same issue and have not gotten any resolution from Razer support. Razer hasn't even had them RMA/send the laptops into them so they can analyze the issue. Another thing that is alarming is that there are ZERO drivers, firmware, etc available for download for ANY of the 2022 models on Razer's website. Every other laptop manufacturer out there has drivers available for download on their support sites. Instead, Razer just has their Synapse software (which is also terrible).I get that Razer isn't the size of Dell, HP, Lenovo or Asus, but with the prices they charge for these high end products, you would think they would offer better support and have decent QC.My advice to anyone out there is to stay away from Razer laptops.UPDATE: I have been staying on top of the Razer Insider forums regarding this and it appears someone was able to resolve it by downgrading their Nvidia drivers to a previous version. UGH! That is something Razer support should have had people try early on. Too late as I already shipped back my unit

Perfect
It's a great machine. 240hz qhd display is great. The combination of i9 and 3070ti, 16 ram and 1tb super fast ssd is enough for me. 1x RAM and 1x SSD slot are empty and the capacity can be increased if necessary. The 17-inch version has extra RAM and SSD slots, larger fans, and a cooling fan built into the extra battery. Fan sounds may seem a little noisy to you, but they keep this beast cool.

Need an external cooling tray
I absolutely love my new laptop. As the title says definitely invest into a cool tray it does heat up fast especially playing and running high graphics.
