Cute sandbox for the kids. Large size. Multiple kids can play inside at same time. It has a cover for sun. Lightweight easy to put together

We placed it under the monkey bars of his playscape. I love that the canopy can be put down or taken off so the monkey bars can still be used.We put 4 50lb bags of play sand in. I think I want to get another 4 bags. We leveled out the area with top soil. We also stapled in some weed stop fabric on the inside / bottom of the sandbox so the grass and weeds won’t grow through the sand, because there is no bottom on this sandbox. It’s made of a very soft light wood. Assembly was pretty easy, I suggest using a drill though, to save your hands from getting blisters, and it also goes WAY faster, maybe took an hour to assemble, and another hour to set up outside. (I started out with just a screwdriver and got a big blister on my thumb, lesson learned) I love that I can put the canopy down over the box to cover it from cats and other critters using it. Such a fun addition to his play scape. 😁

This sandbox has a nice design and provides a good play area for kids. The retractable canopy works well for shade, though it takes a little effort to slide smoothly. The wooden structure feels solid, but I recommend sealing it for better durability.

Good quality, easy to assemble

Great sand box for 2 kids play together. Very light and easy to move. Need some effort to assemble, but the manual is very helpful and with enough details.

This sandbox only lasted one full summer. It’s cute but not sturdy or functional. The canopy is fairly difficult to raise lower on your own (maybe I just have short arms) so it takes 2 people or it gets stuck, and it holds water when in the down position which leads to mold. The canopy ended up ripping within a few months. I really wanted one with a canopy to shield my 1 year old from the sun but in reality the canopy is so small it Only provides shade in the sandbox when the sun is directly overhead. The canopy can also slip down unexpectedly which is dangerous. By the end of summer the wood also started to splinter which isn’t safe. We ended up trashing this one and got the plain old plastic turtle sandbox and I’ve convinced my son to want to wear a hat.

Pretty easy to assemble because wood is lightweight-not a dense wood. Downside is that it may not be long lasting in contact with the ground. I painted it with a protectant paint, then sprayed with a clear coat paint. For the money, it’s a fair value. The sun top is a good feature. Would like the sun top to go all the way down to cover the sandbox when not in use; top goes 3/4 way down.

Easy to assemble took us 20 minutes. A few pre-drilled holes were in the wrong spot but all hardware was present and well labeled. Each bag of screws had a letter in them so that you know what screw goes where. Makes life so much easier. My only complaint is the top part is a little flimsy. The wood is very thin pieces so I'm hoping with the bad wind storm it doesn't destroy it. We seem to have nasty winds where we live. Other than that seems like a great addition to the kids backyard activities.
