I am highly organized. I make a million lists, and I think of everything in advance (and plan to do things in advance). This book is the ultimate support system though. I love the check lists. I love that she thinks of different customs. I love that there's no judgement. This book is great for anyone who is interested in Jewish life cycles and celebrations, in addition to those who know (who couldn't use a detailed check list!?!?) So happy I have this and can use it literally all year long!

I just got this book last night but I'm already sold. This book idiot-proofs every Jewish lifecycle event with checklists and tips and personal anecdotes that are very illustrative. Rebekah Saltzman is obviously incredibly well organized and if like 2% of of that rubs off on me then the book was definitely an investment worth making.

Sadly, I had to return this book as I was shocked and disappointed to find a chapter on " organizing" your abortion, cv's. Buyers should be forewarned that this is included. This is NOT normative Judaism!
