As good as my Paradigm 4 road running shoe
My Paradigm 4s have 540 miles on them and was time to replace them. I was concerned that the 5s "improvements" would make the shoe unusable for me BUT they fit a feel great. I like Altra's roomy toe box and the zero drop soles. I have a problem with my peroneal bone or tendon and high arches. Seems the less cushioned shoes, like the Escalante arch support pushes my foot over putting more pressure on the peroneal causing further injury. But these Paradigm 5 shoes give me no issues. So for foot issues and long distance runners, I highly recommend these shoes. And I should add, also for master runners (euphemism for older) like myself--still running at 71.

Love these trainers
I am very happy with these trainers. We buy these for the wide toe box, which on this shoe is great. These shoes are actually really comfortable as well. I had two previous pairs of Altra, one road shoe and one trail shoe. These ones are way more comfy that the older ones.I actually think these shoes look really nice too.I have no problem recommending this shoe.

Great shoe
Having now done a few KM in this shoe I am very pleased with it…. It’s a good shoe for longer slow recovery runs… a very unique shape in the toe, true to size and if you have a wide foot the wider option gives you room… I don’t normally wear a zero drop but have had no issues very comfortable…
