I saw a similar pepper mill at a restaurant in France in Sept, fell in love and ordered one through Amazon. It never arrived. The seller was very prompt about sending me another one and it arrived yesterday, in perfect condition! I will say, however, that the “spice spoon with bag clip” is a very odd addition to the pepper mill. I can imagine using the spoon to scoop up peppercorns, but what use the the attached bag clip? Maybe it’s a French thing.

This is a very precise pepper mill. The grind is so consistent. You set it where you want with the tension screw (knob on top). Comparing it my old one, it's impressive. The other has fine & course pepper no matter how I set it. This is all the same size and can get really fine. I feel like I get more fragrance from the peppercorns too.The product description was confusing though. The pepper mill has some of the salt mill's info. This is the pepper mill (has a little "p" on the knob on top). The two are different internally. That's the 4 vs 5 star issue for me. If I'm spending almost 50 bucks, I want to be more confident in what I'm ordering. All said - it's really nice & I love it.

We are finally owners of a well made salt & pepper mill!! We have not had my issues with this product and we are absolutely in love. So glad we made this investment. I never knew how important it was to invest in a top quality salt & pepper mill.This product does its job fabulously and with almost no effort. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

Item came damaged in box! They put a massive metal spoon in the same box as my pepper grinder without any bubble rap or protection. My poor pepper mill got all banged up in shipping!! It's a beautiful product it's just this seller needs to ship it properly.

Good looking, excellent material, quality build, smooth action, and excellent grind adjustment. i've had the 8" fidji model for over 20 years. i like that one much better because it is the perfect height. i wish this model was 8" but i wanted to add another style to the counter and Peugeot lasts forever. There are only about two dozen berries inside do don't expect much there. It was not tested at the factory but it works perfectly. The spoon is cool but kind of useless. Who spoons berries from container to mill. Just poor it in. Anyway, highly recommend.
