Quality of the item isn't worth the price.
TL;DR, item takes tons of work to set up, had to buy external adaptors, was missing parts in my order that I had to order separately, screen is blurry, downloading the compatible app is shady, only partially works with iPhone.Seeing lots of youtubers review this product positively lead be to buy this without doing much research. All this item is, is a second screen projected in front of your eyes similar to virtual reality but with you still being able to see the outside. You don't interact with the screen through hand or eye movements at all, you still use the touch screen/mouse/controller to navigate through the user interface. This is unless you download the Rokid app by scanning a QR code in the user manual and downloading an APK of the app through a website, which is kind of shady. Using the app allows you to use "AR mode" instead of "Projection mode," which would basically add a techy kind of overlay to real life with you being able to move the position of different screens and widgets. The app being an APK means that iPhones cannot run the app, only android phones, so iPhones will only be able to use projection mode, which is just the same as casting your iphone to a TV or something similar. There is no iPhone version of the app.Even when only using it as a second screen, it is novel at first but wears off quickly, as the screen hurts your eyes after more than 10 minutes use and edges of the screen are always blurry no matter how much you mess with the myopia/zoom in and out features. This would all be fine if the item wasn't around $400. One positive I can say though is that the projected screen is very large.I would also like to say that I did not receive the wireless adaptor I paid extra for, and the Rokid customer support wasn't very helpful. I ordered it separately just to get the item to work and returned both shortly after due to the quality of the item.Even if you do get the wireless adaptor, you still need a cord running from the glasses to the adaptor, you will not be wearing these glasses cord free.Using them on PC and console takes some figuring out. If you want to connect them to a console or a PC that does not have the ability to show video through the USB-C port (which I didn't) you will need to purchase an HMDI to USB-C adaptor, but you need a very specific kind. It needs to be an adaptor with a female end of a USB-C and a male end of HDMI, not the other way around. This part isn't too common so I had to order it online as well, I couldn't find it at target, Walmart or BestBuy. The adaptor ALSO has to plug into the computer separately with a normal USB port, so to get these glasses to work you need this very specific adaptor plugged into a USB port and an HDMI port, then plug the USB-C cord into the adaptor and the glasses. This is a mess of cords meaning you can't really move your head around while using them on console or PC.I would like to point out some false advertising as well, there is a picture shown of a person playing the Nintendo switch in portable mode with these glasses, however this is impossible because as previously mentioned you need to go through the adaptor, and the portable switch doesn't have an HDMI or USB slot. It does have a USB-C port on the bottom of the switch, but this is only for charging and doesn't display video. You can use these glasses if the switch is put into the TV dock. Some miscellaneous things, the sound quality the glasses put out is just fine, but you can simply use wired or wireless headphones or earbuds instead of using the built-in speakers. If you do stay with the built-in ones, know that people around you will be able to hear the audio, there is no noise canceling/proximity magic going on here like with other glasses that have audio. Also, what you are viewing isn't private, if someone is looking at the front of the glasses, they can see what you are seeing, just as a mirror image that fills the Lense.Overall, this item would be cool if it worked better, and with less cords, and with a more idiot-proof setup process.

Almost perfect - needs adjustment for pupillary distance
Enabling: Fantastic tech for continuous video learning while doing busy work in a safe environment. I wish there were more see-through headset display options, but I don't know any like this. The AR stuff is not compelling, haven't tried. The display works without extra software, whether connected directly via USB to phone or laptop, or using the Goovis for Mira-casting or AirPlay.Blur: as with others I see a bright and sharp image near the center, but blurring near the edges. The blurring can be reduced if I push the glasses firmly against my face, closer to my eyes; but that would be uncomfortable for any length of time, and occupies hands. If I move the glasses left or right those edges come into sharp focus as well. So it seems if they were made wider or (the pupillary distance) adjustable by maybe 5mm-10mm, I would be able to have a full screen experience without having to (a) move desktop windows closer to the center, or to (b) push the glasses left or right to read at edges. Which is a real shame because these have enabled so much freedom while moving about home - a safe and familiar space - cleaning, organizing, and doing so much while watching videos and taking voice notes both with my Mac via AirPlay and my old LG G8 phone via Miracast. (The G8 happens to have a working Android Desktop Mode this happily displays, so I can have my phone projecting a desktop while it's screen does something else; or nothing, in pocket). I may keep these for that functionality, but would quickly trade or upgrade for a sharper image near the edges.

They are great but you need to be technically adept to get full potential
I am really pleased with these AR glasses. I got the wireless version. I am an airline pilot and travel is part of my life. I got these to watch TV and movies while commuting.Setup wasn't as straight forward as I would have like. iPad support is almost non existent. I wanted to just watch movies off my iPad from the onboard Wi-Fi but DRM issues makes this nearly impossible. So, I went to my android phone and it's a game changer. I've been able to stream nearly everything I want. Netflix, AppleTV, Hulu, HBOMax, etc. Youtube looks great. Just about any streaming service will work through the phone. The view is near perfect. My eyesight is just short of the extreme range of focus. But I put on a pair of reading glasses underneath and now it's perfect with no eye strain. While sitting reserve I did a marathon session last week of six hours of TV and movies I needed to catch up on. I was able to see my surroundings through the glasses and still watch TV clearly.AR on the other hand is nearly nonexistent. I'm an amateur astronomer and I downloaded a sky map program, but the refresh rate is very poor. You move your head, and it takes a bit for the application to catch up. A good 90 degrees which can cause some motion sickness. There are some AR games to play that I really haven't been able to play with yet. Downloading seems to be extremely slow. I think you can sideload android program so there may be a way to get other AR programs running that are not available in the store.I was able to use the browser to go to some of my normal websites. No issues there. Streaming video on the web worked great too.One concerning issue is I notice my phone gets warm when I have directly connected to the Rokid. But so far, it's the only way I know to run AR apps.Fortunately, I didn't buy then for gaming, just watching media. So, for me this worked out really well.I have some concerns about how well they will hold up over the long term but so far, I am happy with the purchase.

I can find what I'm looking for in the fridge with these little glasses.
Works great with samsung dex. Any device that can display multiple windows at once and fit in your pocket is great on the Rokid.
