Good quality hats
These hats are a nice quality. I would heat press them with a hat press, for sure. The white part has a cushy foam back to it which needs to be flat against the press. I had a hard time using the rounded attachment on my flat heat press. I should have used a standalone press. You need to make sure that you compress the foam part enough to get a good sublimation. I really like these hats. They're stitched well, and fit fine.

Affordable alternative for "promo"/or "event" better quality is out there for regular-use hats
Long story short - 30 seconds at 285°F.I originally rated these at one star and said:"Indents in the image area from shipping can’t be “released”; the image area discolors from the heat press’s heat while sublimating; the image area is a foamy material (hence the indents) that also READILY gets impressions “burned” into it from the tape and the image carrier from the heat press.Would NOT recommend."But the seller reached out and offered a replacement at no cost, which was very nice of them. But I also asked what they recommend for sublimation settings on these hats (as I've tried "generic sublimation blanks" with settings that don't match what Cricut recommends for their own blanks before with pretty disaster results, which is why I was using Cricut's hat settings on these, even though they aren't the same base material, and it took some back and forth, but I got them to tell me that the technicians recommend sublimating for 3-5 seconds. Which is laughable since nothing is going to sublimate in 5 seconds. So I tried 45 seconds. I still ended up with the same problems that I originally had with 90 seconds. So I tried 10 seconds. It only partially sublimated, so I laid the design back down and tried for another 15 to 20 seconds and then it finished sublimating. So 30 seconds should be your sweet spot. I also used MINIMAL tape to avoid indents. They very much have the 1980s cheap hat vibe, but if you need something that's going to be a bunch of hats for people to wear like one time these'll work great! (But if you want something nice that you'll wear all the time, just order a Cricut blank.)

Perfect for sublimation!
These are perfect for sublimation, they are very well made and are extremely durable! They have a neat look to them and the potential to be very patriotic and fun! The materials are comfortable to wear, easy to clean and great to create with! Great value for the whole set!
